No, you cannot extend a trial without subscribing.  The link I sent is for creating a new account which will have 21 days.

Tell you what, if you start up the trial on the account you got from me, I'll send you 5 mil ISK which you can use to get a good start on some skills and a few frigates.  Send an eve-mail to the character that was mentioned in the invite you got from me and I'll send you the ISK asap...
