I feel ccp needs to add mining rigs and other mining class ships to the game. When i first started playing i said eve needed a capital mining ship and that came true. Now i believe ccp needs to add a new ship class to eve. The hulk isn't big enough anymore and for those of us that cant afford a Rorqual we really need a bigger mining ship. A ship that can fit 4 or more strip miners would be really nice. I also feel miners were left out when the rigs were introduced. Being a miner myself i felt so cheated when i saw all the rigs and there was no mining rig. (cargo rigs don't count) All the warships get bonuses but the mining ships are left out. I wish ccp would add more items/ships that are beneficial towards miners.

There is a recent dev blog where they mention they have things in the works for miners including rigs and more ships. |

-^ That's good to hear. I just bought a mining barge that I'll be able to fly in about 2 weeks. More stuff for miners would definitely be cool. I don't spend a LOT of time mining; but you gotta mine if you don't wanna pay full price for everything or just can't afford full price for everything. It's gotta be tricky though. Already I've seen way too many places that have been stripped bone dry by corps or even just a couple of guys with uber mining skills and ships. Make it even better for miners and it might make it very hard to noob players to even find anything to mine! LOL. The balance challenge is not an enviable one, I'd have to say. But I'm sure CCP will come up with something that the majority can live with. |

Hehehe...you won't believe me, but I stripped an entire asteroid belt in Kisogo 7 of ALL rocks in a couple hours with my Covetor. That was a long time ago. I've been tempted to go through Unpas and strip every little bit of Viscous Pyroxeres from it. |

I have yet to find the four hours neccessary to make the instant 12mil, but hey. Worth every ISK.
