Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm hoping to get into pvp/small gang pvp.. It'd help a lot ^^

Well it looks like you have a good base of combat skills already. The main thing I would focus on is maximizing your skills to support how you make ISK.

 

Since you are Minmatar and most of thier ships rely on speed/mobility I would finish off evasive maneuvering 5 and start working on advanced weapons upgrade so you can squeeze better fittings in.

 

If you are looking for more DPS I would go with surgical strike and work on the four shield compensation skills to improve your tank. If you have any questions in game, look me up in the "Phoibe" public channel or convo me on Murashu.

Can you elaborate more on your interest? Is it high/low/null sec PVP? Faction warfare or RvB?

Shield compensation skills give a very poor return for the SP investment. Almost anything is worth training ahead of those.

In my experience most small gang PVP involves battlecruisers, so getting that to at least 4 will help. And after focusing on fitting skills, like Advanced Weapon Upgrades 5, Battlecruisers 5 is good to have. Otherwise it looks like you're on a good track!
