Ashen Empires producer Jeff Johannigman has posted an update on the upcoming release of AE, code named "Fozzie", over on the Stratics boards.  Here's an excerpt:

We had originally hoped to complete our current release by the end of March. Unfortunately, several events conspired to delay us, and by referring to it as a "March Release", we implied a promise to you that we just couldn't keep. I'm sorry. From here on out, we will no longer use anticipated ship dates as names for releases, and thus no longer make any promises that we aren't absolutely positive we can keep. Instead, we are now using codenames for our versions. The release we are currently working on ("The Release Formerly Known as March") is now codenamed "Fozzie." The release after that will be codenamed "Gonzo."

Perhaps to be followed by "Swedish Chef?"
