Launches Today!
The post-apocalyptic MMOG, Fallen Earth, will finally launch today. The game is currently down for a launch day patch, but is set to go live at 3PM EST today, delayed slightly from the 1PM EST launch time posted earlier.

Headstart Begins
A full two weeks from the new official release date of September 22nd, the head start program begins on time nonetheless. Beginning yesterday at 2PM, players who preordered the game are now able to begin making their mark in the barren wastelands of Fallen Earth.

Delayed Again
Late last month we reported on the announcement that Fallen Earth would see its release date delayed from September 9th, 2009 to September 15th, 2009. Today, we bring news of yet another delay. The game is now slated to launch on September 22nd, 2009 (which also happens to be the day Aion launches, for those keeping track). Those who pre-ordered will still be able to enter the Early Access program beginning September 9th, 2009.

Beta to End with an "Apocalypse Party"
The beta test for Fallen Earth will come to a close at midnight on September 1st, 2009. But that doesn't mean you can't party like it's 1999 (or 2156, but who's counting?) before the world ends! To celebrate the end of beta, the developers will be throwing an "Apocalypse Party" on Saturday, August 29th from 3-6PM EST. Players who attend the party will receive special food and drinks that grant a variety of buffs, and up to seven items that will grant a 15% boost each, for a duration of one hour.

Gets Delay, Launches September 15th
Fallen Earth will be launching six days later than expected. The scheduled release date of September 9th, 2009 has been moved to September 15th, 2009. According to the developers, this delay was necessary to make some last minute improvements and optimizations to the game.

Open Beta Begins August 17th
We've learned that the Open Beta for Fallen Earth will begin on August 17th, 2009, in an announcement made on the official Fallen Earth website. All you have to do to take part in the Open Beta test is to register on FilePlanet beginning Friday, August 14th, 2009 at 1PM Eastern Time (GMT-4).
