Fallen Earth's Marie Croall has posted the latest State of the Game letter on the new FE blog. The letter discusses upcoming events surrounding Fallen Earth's second anniversary as well as gives a peek ahead to Economic changes coming.

For the second anniversary, the team will be hosting live events in both "EU and North American friendly times". According to Croall, there will be PvP, PvE and RP events for everyone. Each participating player will also receive a celebratory item that will clearly show off their faction.

Economic changes will be coming in two parts, the first arriving later in September and the second half coming sometime after. All changes will reach finalized implementation shortly after the free to play push coming in October. The first 'push' will address the main persistent issue, "inconsistent implementation of rarity in both recipes and node placement and the overabundance of cooking components and their application in recipes."

The World Event system will be launched with the free to play patch. Originally planned to be released in September, the team has pushed this feature to the October patch to ensure quality.
