The good

  • The F2P is better than most games, gives you plenty of time to review and decide if it's for you
  • great crafting system
  • PVE is fun even though i'm not a twitchy gamer
  • nice big map
  • it's not a cookie cutter wow clone
  • good skill and level system
  • nice customizable ui

The bad
  • no player housing/towns - this is probably a long term game breaker for me
  • 1st / 3rd person perspective constant switching and aiming can get annoying
  • mob AI is laughable
  • seems choppy as if there's a bug, tried it on 2 PCs, not a huge issue though
  • questing gets samey
  • maybe not bad, but i wish it had crafting mats grades like swg

Does what it says on the tin, a fun, interesting game, takes a bit more brain power to play than the usual WoW clone.

Are you still blocked from banking and trading on a F2P account? Last time I played, that was a huge problem for me and my friend while we tried the game out. Admittedly that was a while back.

I asked in chat last night and they said you can use the AH, not tried the bank yet as I just restarted after several years away.

Freeloading mooches are the scourge of the gaming community.

First let me say this is not a trolling attempt. But in all honesty I thought this game shut down. Or was shutting down.

I enjoyed this game a few years back, the world was fantastic to explore, it had a proper post apocalyptic feel.  The problem I found was that it all just got a bit samey after about level 20, and I just found myself less and less inclined to log in.

They never fixed the clunky combat. THats what sunk this game.
