FE has tips of the day on UI, gameplay etc.  The tip today has to go down as the best piece of advice I have had in a long time

"There are no elves in Fallen Earth.  If you see one, kill it."

Too funny

That is funny. There are no elves, but everyone in this game is a trash digging magic user. Oh my bad, they call it "mutations".

Yea I got a chuckle out of the tip of the day too.

Remember even if its some HORRIBLY twisted infected that bears a passing resembalance to a elf, its moan are cries of mercy.

Put a bullet in the poor creatures brainpan, its a mercy killing.

I love a game with a sense of humor.  I was reading a thread the other day about the new character sayings in FE.  That was hilarious.  I was almost tempted to get the game just from that thread.

Yea the character sayings are pretty darn funny and the odd FK gets yelled out which does go in line with the adult theme.   I still think some of the funniest ones I have heard are:

(when trying to mine a rock I had no skill for) - damn, yet again you win sediment!

(when trying to skin a person) - went something like....um, I will NOT do THAT. 

What was cool is I heard a different line trying to do the same thing.  It goes a long way to bring the character to life.  Its hard having a mute avatar sometimes.

One of the greatest attractions of FE for me was the change from elves and dwarves. Finally, a game that is gritty and humorous and more than a bit adult.

yea, I dont mind fantasy but I do get a kick out of seeing my character wearing mismatched armour and carrying 6 weapons hanging all over the place.  Does give you a great feel of being a survivalist and living off the land.  Does make me laugh when people moan about how you can't make tons of money at the start an its hard to get more petrol etc.  I actually find that to be the shining quality of the game.

HAHA I agree. When you first equip all your noobie stuff at the beginning you are the ugliest adventurer in MMO history, BUT IT WORKS. Get your first head band and it's a done deal :)

At the same time you see a high level player with 2 sniper rifles, 2 pistols, and a motorcycle ride up and you kinda start drooling...just a little :)

Also when I first read that tip of the day, I turned around to my girlfriend (who doesn't play mmos at all) and she even gave a smile to that one. If I was a dev. that would be a great event one day. Just spawn some elves around and watch people go apeshit trying to kill them!
