Here is what some graphics from EQ that was released in 1999.  Im not sure if these are the originals or not. But here is a good comparison.

Yeah I know the GFX aren't like AoC or LOTRO or whatnot but they sure as hell aren't from the 90's. The character models are awesome and the animations for emotes are solid. The terrain might be a bit bland but thats but thats the desert lol let a lone a PA desert for ya.

No vegetation. No trees in the background. It's nice to know that weed-eaters won't be needed in the future.

There i said it... again.

Oh and thank god there aren't any giant badgers in this game.

Maybe you might need a weed eater after all.

Edit:  Oh yeah, LOL at giant badgers. heh  That reminds me of the  show Portal. It sure was a crazy show, heh..

Looking much better than some of the screens i saw these days. Actually, these are looking very well and the characters don't look as lame anymore.

I would SO love to have a beta-key...but subscribing to Fileplanet is a no-go for me.

Looking at the EQ pics made me think!

Back in my day we only had 12 polygons for graphics and we were HAPPY!  No longer did we have the flat 2d stuff! 

Our feet looked like mishapened pyramids and we would run from one side of the server to the other!!  Fighting Giants both ways!  And we were happy! 

Did not have these new fangled "horses" or "vehicles".  Meh!

And spell graphics!  Spell Graphics?  We had blue tint on your staff and the text told us how much damage it did!  Not no particle-whatcha-whositsz!  COLOR!  BLUE!  Happy!
