Overwatch Game Director Jeff Kaplan has posted on the game's forum about some of the future plans for Blizzard's 10M player juggernaut. Kaplan writes that getting competitive play has been the primary focus as the team has been working to implement some of the community's feedback into the forthcoming update.
While testing has been ongoing internally, the team is looking to get further feedback from a wider pool of players and is considering a test server.
Additionally, several heroes are in the works, though none ready for the production pipeline. However, at least one map has been sent to the art department. Kaplan and team feel that it's in fairly good shape, though he did not reveal any further information.
