been triyng to find one becuase I'm temtped to come back, I loved sailing in the old UO and if it does make it better then woot.

My only downside is when I quick I had everything in my house including alot of vet items and such, so depressing, but all the rpers I used to hang with moved to europa so I guess not much of a loss lol.

Lots of Gimmicks and grinding, but cool smooth boat movement.

I would not advise to return for High Seas alone as it does not have that much content.

Lots of fishing grinding and you can capture pirates, though capturing costs more than you get in loot from them. :P

They will be adding new loot to pirate hunting and fishing in an update soon.  Operating one of the new ships requires a lot of crafting.  You will want to make a crafter if you don't have one already.
