opalstorm writes: I have been a beta tester since June. The only other comparable MMOG in this genre is The Sims Online, which reeks compared to There. I paid $29.95 for There, and no monthly fees - that's right! $30 for a lifetime membership to play There. Cheaper than any other MMOG out there almost of comparable quality! It is true that to get more in-game money you might have to pay real money. However, there ARE ways to make in-game money. I have many friends that design clothes, hoverbikes, and hoverboards and make money that way. TONS of people do this! It's a great way to earn There Bucks, and it's fun, plus you are contributing your own art to the game and making your own lasting impact on it. I highly recommend this game. You can have loads of fun in the game, and there are games, such as buggy racing competitions, player created quests, amongst others, but this is more a metaverse than anything else. If you are not careful, you can wind up loosing many hours of sleep in There. The free trial is good, but you don't get Therebucks in that trial, so you are stuck looking like a newbie unless you buy some T-bux (current exchange rate is US $1 = T$1787). I would highly suggest trying the trial version to this before you buy. But if your not like me and you like chating, modeling or hanging out with friends this is the game for you.
