nobion writes: There.com is a overseen game. The game contains a great community. Except from the "noob" community which mostly persist of kids. Anyhow looking among the Premium members will reward you alot better. The lag is good compared to how much stuff its streaming to you sometimes. And the different activities work decently. I got good friends on there.com. And i plan on staying there for long. I tried second life. And got hugely disapointed. There.com is just better. Except from the graphics that only in the shaders are worse, The animations are top dollar. Very compareble to high end games today. And also many people do not find the "Settings manager" that allows resolution up to 1600x1400 or what it is lol ;). Try it. Its not a "game" as in Everquest or EVE. Its rather a community of creative designers and people looking for somthing more interactive. And deeper than a normal chat place. Thu Jul 24 2008 3:52PM
Blue_devil73 writes: Similar to secondlife in that players have the ability to create the environment they play on. a nice game to play on the weekends if you have nothing else to do. Wed Jul 16 2008 3:42PM

jojo_themo writes: Cartoon land for children. Terrible lag for some reason. If your kids find this I'd hide the credit cards this is a money pit. No RP elements unless you count being a kid as RP. Sat Aug 26 2006 7:16PM
opalstorm writes: I have been a beta tester since June. The only other comparable MMOG in this genre is The Sims Online, which reeks compared to There. I paid $29.95 for There, and no monthly fees - that's right! $30 for a lifetime membership to play There. Cheaper than any other MMOG out there almost of comparable quality! It is true that to get more in-game money you might have to pay real money. However, there ARE ways to make in-game money. I have many friends that design clothes, hoverbikes, and hoverboards and make money that way. TONS of people do this! It's a great way to earn There Bucks, and it's fun, plus you are contributing your own art to the game and making your own lasting impact on it. I highly recommend this game. Graphics are great, NO LAG, great community, great fun. Sat Aug 26 2006 7:16PM
