Well, maybe some people know around here that a new free expansion will come out in some month called "frontiers" to improve RvR. So i just wanna know what you people think about it :D. |

What I've seen until now (screenies and commen rumors) makes me looking really forward to that expansion! The new thing about how upgradeing the keeps is a thing that really gives the keep a GREAT look instead of just same look for keep lvl 1 and keep lvl 10... (exept for the guards that is...) The keep actually get's bigger the further the keep are upgradet. More towers and bigger walls My rating even when I haven't tried it yet is 7/10 because the frontierzones and how the zones is put together really works out in teory that is and the fact that the keeps looks really nice! |

Frontiers needs to work and work well. ToA has been killling off long-time players right and left, so Fronters is truly Mythic's last, best hope. From the maps posted and things the devs have mentioned, it does look promising.

The New Frontiers open beta started today. I downloaded it, but Pendragon server is down at the moment, so I'm going to get my first peek at it later today (I hope). From what Mythic has posted, the open beta is going to last for a long time, and there will be substantial changes made before releasing. As with any beta, especially this one, I'm expecting a multitude of bugs, but Mythic has already warned people about it. It's a sort of "try at your own risk" right now. From the test version 1.70, I've already seen the new realm abilities. It is definitely different than the current one. How this is going to work in addition to New Frontiers is yet to be seen. No doubt there are going to be changes (read nerfs) made.

 New Frontiers IMO Blows in BG1 aka Thid there was 10 cata 12 trebs so where is the skill in Mass killing was no hand to hand combat so that means more lvl 50s not knowing there toons very well and lets not forget the shroom factor in windows and going thru doors so my grade for Frontiers is D only reason it wasnt a F was due to great Keep and Bridge make over |

frontiers made the game fun again for me. i was so sick of the killing random stuff and rvr was why i wanted to play in the first place. new expansion is lotsa fun. give it a try. |

Frontiers killed the game for me. Siege equpiement and keep battles suck. This is from a casual gamer. I am not near the top in any RVR catagory. but it is evident that tanks are left out. Archers are god. Insta port sucks royally, What is good about NF? not a damn thing. Proof? - log in and do a /who thidranki, you will get a responce like 80-100 mids in thid. that never happened before. 95-99% of those in there are 50 on alts that are just fed up with RVR in the frontiers. I know pple that suiside out of Thid so they dont level out. will sit there and kill themselves 3-4 times to remove 2-3-4 bubbles so they stay 24. They dont want to grow up and move to NF - cause it sucks - look around this forum for my reasons on why it sucks - I wont go into all that again. I have explained it all 2-3 times today already. it just sucks - period. |
