I am willing to move ahead and Establish a MMORPG.com guild within the Realm of Albion on the Lancelot Server. Being the 2nd most populated server of the Northern US, it does not have crowded dungeons and camps beyond the hope of even being there.

RvR is a constant theme on this server of late, due to the lack of interest that remains in TOA. Both Hibernia and Midgard offer good resistance within this server, With Hibernia housing all Power relics and Albion housing all Strength relics.

What has yet to be determined is the name we shall go by.
(Admin - Would appreciate some input here)

So, please post within this thread, what names you would like to suggest as being representative of this community.

Come Jan. 9th I will post a poll of the names suggested within this thread and the decision will be determined by the members of this community on Jan. 16th.

On Jan 16th, I ask all members of this community who wish to join the MMORPG.com DAOC GUILD of LANCELOT to meet at the Guild Name Registry in the City of Camelot at 10pm EST.

I will be present by the name Narustam.

The subject of a Guild Website will be discussed later on.

The guild name I have is "The Fifth Column" or "]V[

Who came up with the phrase, and what's with the columns? Emilio Mola Vidal, a Nationalist general during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), originally coined the term. As four of his army columns moved on Madrid, the general referred to his militant supporters within the capital as his "fifth column," intent on undermining the loyalist government from within.

If no new games were on the horizon, I'd jump on this opportunity.  The best MMORPG out right now is DAOC.  Repeat:  the best MMORPG out right now is DAOC.  In about two or three months, there are going to be much better choices in MMORPG's.  Even Ultima Odyssey looks to be more promising that the games out these days.  And when EQ2 arrives, everything I've played will fall to the wayside, permanently!

Nope, my days of DAOC are over.  But I wish the best for you who cling onto this game.

 I have tried both DAoC and FFXI and i must say FFXI is MUCH better than DAoC in my oppinion.

Dark Age of Camelot had good fighting and RvR, but thats as far as i'll go with it.

 FFXI has flying skyships, boats, chocobos all for transportation. The fighting is good. having a party is a blast. The graphics are awesome and the world is so well detailed compared to DAoC. There are lots of great tradeskills such as fishing, weaving, goldsmithing, ect. The missions are fun and theres constantly quests you can do (that don't suck). I am constantly doing different things in FFXI.

 If FFXI isn't your cup of tea theres going to be so many games in 2004 (which is now) and 1 of them must suit what your looking for. I'd advise staying away from DAoC in my oppinion unless you like constant levelling until level 50 then RvR.
