Hey I played this game back in 04-06 or so, I see that it's down to 1 server cluster, questions is all my characters were on Gaheris and Merlin. Is there anyway to get them back/ transfer to ywain? I using my 14 days free right now and logged on to no characters across the 3 realms so nothing transfered over if they had planned on it.

most of us have moved on to Uthgard classic server (google it) and are not really looking back.

You might need to fiddle around a bit to find it, but you can log into the old servers to transfer characters to Ywain. At least that was my experience the last time I was playing.

Anyway... at that time the "co op" server which was Gaheris as far as I remember was not added to the super cluster.   It was oddly merged with the last remaining dred server.   If it was clustered after I missed it..

Regardless... from what I remember you have to log into account management.   In your DAoC account options should be something that mentions "transfer" and you should be able to go in there and see a list of characters.   I believe that is how you set the transfers up now.

If you were active prior to the super merge... you actually did the transfer "in game" but from what I remember that's no longer the case.

I did go under my account management and only found transfers for WAR nothing there for daoc : / I'm going to google around on how to log into old servers to transfer characters though.

i was wondering how is it on Uthgard server, is there alot of people playing?

I tried uthgard a while back in summer 11'. It was great the only downfall though is the population is mostly Euro based so prime-time US is sleeping time there lol.

Good news is I found my old characters on the archived servers and did /freexfer ywain1 and couple hours later my characters xfer'd over! Wooooo!

You can transfer all chars from old servers to Ywain. You go under archived servers, select your server and realm then do /freexfer Ywain#.

 Mordred and Co-op are not clustered. They are under the "cluster" of alterniate rulesets but they are in no way able to interact with one another.

Also "most of us" have not gone to a free server. We are still playing dark age.

Yeah I'm playing on ywain now, character is Evilmariel, vampiir level 30 already!
