Noticing that someone made a case for GAoC (Golden Age of Camelot - Prequel) I would also like to propose TRoC (The Renaissance of Camelot - Sequel).

Storywise I would like to see a new DAoC placed after the first.

After years of warring the three factions leaders met up, and declared peace with eachother. In the aftermath when common men had the chance to wind down, scholars started debating the sanity of the god wars. During the coming decades this seed took hold and clerics, bards and other worshipers were blamed for the loss of many loved ones. Temples and churches were burned and a new godless age of peace took hold. With their worshipers silencing, the gods powers waned and they begun to fade.

But such an age was not to last. In the caves and underground tunnels, the monsters of the earth licked their wounds. Meanwhile giving prayers to the evil and wicked gods. And so Loki, demons and others gathered their armies in silence, until one dark day when the Kingdoms fell under the onslaught of evil.

When you start, the great cities have fallen, and most land is under evil rule. The relics of old are stolen. You only survived as a member of one of the old guilds that had gone into hiding during the persecution. You have noticed your powers returning as your countrymen slaves have once again begun praying to the gods silently in the night. They pray for deliverance from the evil and monsters, and your Gods have heard their call.

They will lend you their powers as you strive to retake your cities and villages trying to keep them from the rule of monsters, demons and other deities.

But the old gods have a demand. They are weary of your last insolence. The peace must be broken and the worshipers of false gods must be destroyed. When you fight the other gods you are rewarded with power, allowing you to reclaim your cities and hold them against the tide of evil. If you falter in your faith or strength, you will see your homes sacked.

In this new era, the countries have had exchanges with eachother for years. You might even have some friends from the enemy factions. When they call for your help, will you answer them and weaken the country, or will you leave them to die for the glory of your faction?

What do you think? Would this be a good setting for a sequel? Other ideas or improvements?
