My SB is almost level 12 and about to leave the starter island but before that happens I needed a few crafting questions answered.

Tailoring...what purpose does furs/skins have that drop from mobs have? Seems like I can not use them...non salvage.

Alchemy...what drops should I be looking for, so as to salvage, to help with my alchemy training?

I might be over half a year late to answer this, but for any future new players wondering the same, all you'll ever need for your crafts are sold by the NPC's near the Crafting Tools in the Capital, the only drop item you'll ever need is from 50+ mobs in the Epic Zone (the zone where the Dragon is).
