First i like to say that my personal meaning about ballance chrs in a rvr game, cant be easy. But still i dont think that this is " needed" becuse its more a team game then a solo game. the only chrs that are able to solo for real are the "stealhers". That skill i to find not fitting a MMORPG.
When that its said, i like to give my personal meaning about the Paladin and there bust/nurf in time. And comperet the post on the internet that i have seen.

Paladins in a Magical/MMORPG i a chrs thats not the stronghest, but deffently the most defencesiv chr in the hole world, And able to stand the ground, whit no weak areas when it comes to malee - types and magical - type, same goes when it has to go whit standing face to face whit the monsters, demons roaming the world.

Remake the hole class. To something like this. ( see below ) though keep something like the same resist/abilite/damges scale thata re in the game to day.

Wep:
All 3 wep - types are ok, so keep en, but add the known paladin skill zeal ( where the skill raises, whit hits pr, attack )
- remove the 2h abilies, it has nothing to do whit defence, it for max wep-damge.

Shield:
Make posistions stuns, that rais in timer, by raising shield - skills.

Magic/casting: ( What the HECK is the thing about adding fire magic ( its not a shadowknight ).Add magic - line like this:
Casting:
Smith, same as cleris.
Aura:
Lighting, as we see on the reaver.

single Buffs: that rais in traind skill.
Add new skills:
Magical damge abs, forcefield, against multi magical damge. + % return damge.
Melee/shield enhancing: Abilite to buff the shield against multi melee damge. + % return damge.

grp Buffs: that rais in traind skill.
Healing, as chant works now. - but as a buff, for like 20 min.
Endureance, as chant works now. - but as a buff, for like 20 min.
- Keep the abilite to rezz.
 

Hate: The Paladin allso need to be a main aggro target for NPCer, the higher they are in lvls the higher the draw aggro.

Self healing / known as layhand.
1 time pr houre.

Stats: 
Normal rais, like % in all resist to melee, magic and hp.

RVR abilites:
And when it comes to realm abliltes, then a Paladn  will never have skills that aid anyone els and not the paladin.

Armor: 
The paladin are the born, defence tank, then who force the class to wait till lvl 20 for getting plate. That should be from day one.
