    The Skyforge site has been updated with a new interactive panorama that features a look at the Veines zone. Similar to Google Street View, users can move the camera around a static point on the ground to get a look at the area.

  • Anomalies - High End Adventure

    The latest Skyforge developer diary has been published that details anomalies, high level adventures for up to five players. Each player will need to be a god, though not necessarily in a Pantheon. Party assembly can happen in a place called Tessa's Sanctuary where teleportation to an anomaly happens.

    Obsidian Entertainment, Allods Team and My.com have released a new Skyforge developer diary to talk about special worldwide events called Invasions. Participation in invasions can see players scoring some amazing gear, costumes and items to enhance players' powers and abilities. Invasions can last months and have the potential to reshape the game world.

  • Closed Beta 3 Underway Through May 13th

    The third closed beta phase for Skyforge is now underway. CBT #3 will last longer than the first two, running all the way until May 13th.

  • Closed Beta #3 Slated for April 22nd

    The Skyforge team has just posted notification that the next closed beta event will kick off on Wednesday, April 22nd. A new round of beta invites is scheduled to be sent out as well to broaden the tester pool so keep an eye on your mailbox.

  • Friday's Live Stream to Feature the Necromancer

    During this Friday's Twitch.tv broadcast, the Skyforge team will be taking the opportunity to show off the next playable class in the roster, the Necromancer. During the event, Community Manager Michael "Spunky" Dunaway and other members of the team will be taking on the Daren Facility as part of the Necro showcase to show off its power against the undead.

  • Distortions Add Another Dimension to Endgame Play

    The Skyforge site has been updated with a new developer blog to lay out another component of end game play. Called "Distortions", these special events become available after players have unlocked their divine forms and if Pantheons have access to a special piece of equipment called an Analyzer. Using the Analyzer on the tactical globe in the Divine Observatory, groups will be able to see special distortions marked on the map.

  • Unlimited Buy Up for Character Progression Slowed by Caps

    The Skyforge team has taken to the official blog to lay out some of the underlying philosophy behind the game's monetization. Of most particular note is the inclusion of weekly caps on certain progression "currency" that should allay fears that characters can "buy their way" up to level cap. In addition, while players can accelerate their progress, they gain no advantage over others of a similar level.

  • Keeping the Dialog Open About Monetization

    Skyforge's community manager Maeron has taken to the official forums with a strong statement about the ongoing discussion of the game's monetization strategy. The statement was penned in response to players "pasting" the P2W accusation on Skyforge. According to Maeron, such allegations damage a game's reputation before it has a chance to launch and that players must place some level of trust in the developers creating the game.

  • Closed Beta #2 Begins

    The second beta event for Skyforge has begun as of today, Wednesday, March 25th. There was no server wipe thus allowing players in the first event to continue their character's progress. In addition, four new classes have been announced as becoming available during this beta cycle, though it was confirmed that several players unlocked them in the first event.

    The latest Skyforge class is now a matter of public record with the latest trailer release. The Lightbinder is a support class that is essential in any battle. Lightbinders have the ability to buff compatriots and can weaken enemies with debuffs. The key to Lightbinder success is avoiding direct contact with the enemy.   • Closed Beta #2 Coming March 25th

    The second closed beta phase for Skyforge will be heading out on March 25th. Players will have a lot of new content to try out with four new classes to unlock, a new 5-player dungeon, an open world location on Naori Island, an 8v8 "superiority" PvP mode, and something called the Nedder Test Area.
