Lost of good info on the process of building structures, which sounds highly collaborative.  After laying out your blueprint, you get to set up contracts at the settlement treasury for people to accomplish any of the various tasks required in the construction of your building for a set price.  Sounds like it'll take a village for the more advanced ones.
