    • One of the better free MMO's around. Lots of classes, instances and loot. There's a slight learning curve due to the game's unique character development and quest system. Graphics are fairly dated however there's rumor that a graphical update is on the horizon which is nice. I highly recommend this game.

    • Fantastic game. Had a troublesome first couple of months but got on its feet and still stands firm. The sound and the music adds to the "feel" of the game, and AO has, in my and many others opinion, the best one out of all mmorpgs. I'm giving this a 9 overall.

    • I coouldn't figure out how to control the character so I uninstalled the trial quickly.

    • Very nice but old game. The world is huge and everything is very complicated. Not recommend for little kids, but for adults instead.

    • I played this game since release to the launch of its first expansion pack 'Shadowlands', and have been quitting/returning pretty much ever since. I really liked this one due to its cyberpunk universe but SL kinda ruined the whole feeling for me with the "fantasy" touch to it. That said it is a solid title and unmatched in terms of story and character development. The graphics are of course outdated at this time (it's almost 7 years old) but with the upcoming overhaul of graphics it might look a bit more tasty to new players. I'm definitely gonna have to see it myself.

    • I have reinstalled this game more than any other...aside from americas army..hehe. With the upcoming release of the new gaming engine I would highly recommend this game.! To the Zaack guy below...yes the graphics are dated hence the new graphic engine being released shortly..! nub

    • Rofl. Just Rofl. The graphics are aweful! Spent 5 minutes playing and laughing at how the character run. Stupid Rip off.

New Tiered Subscription Model

Funcom has announced that they are making changes to the subscription model of Anarchy Online. They will be offering the contents of the Shadowlands expansion 5 USD / EUR, in addition to their free to play plan and 14.95 monthly fee.
