FunCom is celebrating their upcoming 4 year anniversary for Anarchy Online which will officially be on June 27, 2005. As part of this celebration they will be holding a massive giveaway for a ton of prizes. The official release is below:
| Durham, USA — June 23, 2005 – Funcom is proud to announce that Anarchy Online will celebrate its 4th anniversary on June 27th! Ever since the launch of the ultimate sci-fi MMORPG, Anarchy Online has continued to be one of the most influential MMO games on the market and the title has become one of the most successful MMO's of all time. Just during the last six months more than a quarter of a million gamers have signed up, a testament to the ongoing popularity of the groundbreaking sci-fi MMO. To celebrate the substantial four year milestone Funcom is launching a series of events and celebrations across Rubi-Ka during the coming weekend. The players of Anarchy Online can look forward to everything from PvP tournaments to scavenger hunts, trivia contests, hide and seek games, finding a hidden item on a random advertisement billboards and dance/costume contests. A vast range of prizes and goodies from Alienware, ATI, Creative, Logitech, Microsoft, Gamespot, IGN and Funcom will be handed out. This is a great opportunity for great giveaways and prizes from some of the best gaming technology companies in the world. There will also be extensive radio coverage of the events, with Gridstream productions and MMOradio broadcasting the latest tunes while giving live comments on events and activities.
