Heres a poll to see how many people like anarchy online or dont. And I know there will always be a complaint that the answer that suits you is not in the poll, sorry I did my best, and yes I lilked it at first but it died down, much to big with not enough people

I just started playing Last night. At first look it looks like it will take time to know how to play. But like all games it shouldn't take me too long.

A bit weird thread, because "liking" something is highly personal... luckily it hasn't gone into a flame war :-)
Anyway, I love the game. It was my first MMORPG that I played as a paying customer, after having played it for free for about ten months. I've tried nearly every MMORPG that has a free trial, but AO is still something very special to me. I'm intending to return to the game some day, at the moment I've managed to take my new MA to level 9 but I'm having trouble with keeping interest in the game for long enough :-) I love it, but I'm also a bit bored of it... And having somewhat lots of real-life stuff going on so I can't concentrate on gaming so much. |

At first its a great game. But around lvl 30, It becomes an old grind mmo. And the economy is the worst in any mmo out there. And that makes the game full of greedy players. Asking a newbie for 100k credits for a health buff is just stupid. Or selling a weapon for 2 million credits is just as bad. And from what i hear, All this kind of crap only happens on the us server. I guess we americans are just selfish gamers.

When this game first launched, it was horrible. Bugs, lag, etc. Hell, for some people it wasn't even playable. But as they worked out the kinks, this game did become AMAZING! Unfortunate for me and a lot of people, we walked early and (me at least) found it difficult to get back into after being gone as long as I was. I actually miss the game, but still don't have any desire to go back.
On a side note, one thing this game always had for it was the music. I'll never forget when I walked into the forest outside of Omni for the first time, and that fanfare started playing. |

playing(and paying) the game for more then 2 years, 1 220 toon, 218, 214... etc... and its still best mmo in my eyes :)
Lack of better graphic is compensated with A LOT content, many skills to invest, lots of proffesions to chose.. etc etc... and server problems/lag is history now.  |

It really is the best free MMO out there.............. I play an MP on RK1 and the game has loads of personality. What other game has the depth that AO has really? I dont think they exist. In AO there are so many things you can do to improve your character its not even funny. Depending on the nano buffs and implants you can buid it is possible to be very tough even at low levels. Add to that flying cars a huge world and my personal favorite the ability to have 3 pets at the same time im pretty happy with it overall. Even when I start LOTR or VG I will likely keep playing AO on the side.
