I'm using the basic/free version of AO. My client version says the local version is 16.0.0 and the remote version is 16.2.0. I know I need to patch it but it won't let me because it always tells me the servers are down (Rubi-Ka 1 & 2). I figure if they were really down that long then I'd see some massive bulletin on their site. |

You probably have a firewall blocking your connection. The servers were down for a while a few days back to get 16.2.0 up then were down for a couple of hours on the second to correct some problems but that's all I can find. I just logged in with no problems. |

I was pretty sure my firewall settings were correct, but I never checked my other firewall. PeerGuardian 2 was blocking my connection attempts. As soon as I disabled it everything started working. |
