There is good and bad froobs, AO has not so many. Try out Archlord and you will see the diff, It whent free a while ago and now it's littered with froobs that is rude,beggers,pk's,extort ppl. U get ganked to many times when figting a mob due to FFA. there is no pvp restriction so an lvl 98 can attack a lvl 15. Along with that crappy movment controls and the login server is down repedetly.

Anarchy Online has been around 6-7 years now.  The game mechanice and rules have been mostly ironed out.  Archlord is a new game, I am not surprised it has still a lot of bad rules.

On another point, having level restriction is a bit silly.  In a different matured game such as Eve, they do it even better.  A big heavy battleship can shoot up a noobish tiny ship.  But if such attack happened in the policed zone (the safe zone) then the police will warp to the spot instantly and kill the attacker.  I do like this model better as it's a bit more realistic than Anarchy Online.   :)

The whole game is F2P,so one can say those who payed before is screwd. the onley one can pay for is special money. in that shop one can buy some good dd & speed enhancers (time limited) also lots of crap, It's seems that the current bugs also woun't get fixed. There is a penelty system for pk's but they don't care sins it's f2p. 3 types of chests drop Silver,Gold,Platnium (wich u have to buy keys from special shop to open them). In the silver chest one can get small healt & mana potions wich isn't worth a dime. And the last i can come up with now is the ever so boring grind or some bad made missions. So all in all archlord sucks big time !

It originates from korea so it's not that new !

I played a Froob account for nearly a year, and the only thing I ever really saw spamming 1337 were those damned reets.

To day it sad to see that AO is an dessert, most old plyers has left and Clan has given up on the tower wars, its dieing even if they upg the engine !

      Without the Froobs AO would be totally dead.......Yeah youre gonna get the idiot that begs for creds and runs around in a bikini but you also got alot of palyers that started as froobs and went on to full membership......
