It drops randomly from robot mobs. I personally got mine from a mechdog in a mission.

Is there a place on the map I could go to, to get the Robotic Self Perservation System without getting a mission?

Im not entirely sure on that one. I have only found those in missions. Im sure there is tho, just as long as you hunt robots.

Would Pleasant Meadows be a good start?

Because I spend most of my time in shadowlands(only come to Rubi-Ka to do mission, i'm not sure about that area. Why not ask some people in game, I'm sure they will be more help than this forum

For the item you want to get hold of, you need to go to Oasis Acidpool in Newland Desert (2850 x 700). In there you'll see a group of Buzzsaws with a bigger one of them (the boss). Hunt them all and camp a little, you will probably obtain the item in a loot. I found that item in there and it didn't last more than 20 minutes.

Note: The item that might be a problem for you in future is Disposal Unit Electrical Toolset. R-2000 Vermin Unit Disposal Unit generally drops it, nonetheless whenever I visited it in its location, it wasn't there. You may consider buying it, the price was 8 Million credits when I asked someone lastly

You can get a Robotic Self Perservation System from one of those Techno Scavengers, or somthin like that. If you go out the backdoor of Old Athens and keep going down, you should be able to find one from those guys.

I did give exact location. You may loot the item within 20 minutes. I did loot it within 15 minutes. Buzzsaws are so easy to kill if you are higher than level 30. I had an engineer level 109. Since I had some valid reasons not to play it anymore, I deleted it. After I deleted it, I thought I should have taken a break. But I'll keep on glancing at the Anarchy Forum in here, and will try to help people as much as I can.

I deleted my engineer toon, however, I'm bound to say I learned many new things I had no idea before duration of my engineer playtime
