what I did many many many years ago,I made adventurer and I maxed adventuring cos i felt its the way to go ,some days passed and i realized its really not the way to go and i laughed to myself soo much then i joined to an org at lvl 30 or something,it was one of the biggest orgs at that time and everybody was soo much going to help me ,and i was like whatta hell,this aint gonna happen and i left pretty fast, I wanna explore some first just by myself and learn from my mistakes like i did with adventuring cos it was really fun,and I mean REALLY.

and REALLY theres not much gaming left in this game anymore because this means dude have ruined it soo nicely so my advice is that just enjoy at the beginning just by yourself and when you find yourself sitting on pocketkitenuke whatever group,then the fun is over.

I think, a lot of people dont exacly know, what to do, once logged in :)

Before you log in, select the native screen resolution that your monitor supports.

To make it looking better, you may add AntiAlias in your gfx card config as well as some color saturation or vibrance.

That makes the colors more colorfull :)

Once logged in, youll find youself on the ICC Shuttleport, were your shuttle just crashed.

Nearby were you spawn, there is a NPC with a blue name, Brandon Thorn, a mission giver.

Talk to him and follow the instructions. He will hand out the basic gear (inventory[i]) that you can equip with a right click.

Select targets either by Tab or with mouse.

At this point i always join F10 to set i.e. the minitoolbar.

F10 has some nice options like see the targets target, get more hotbars, switch off the gui wings, especially the right one, so the rollup panel can scroll down, etc etc.

Set your GUI like you want, drag things arround, drag functions and nano programs to the hotbars and find your mission window.

Kill some mobs now, level to lvl 4 or 5 in some minutes. Loot the rings, they sell for good startcash and sometimes they have some nice buffs inside.

On every ding ( level up) you should skill your char, press [u] or the level up notification icon that pops up after ding.

Within your skills window there is a automatic skill button upper left, that works for the first 20 levels mainly good.

Your profession is skilled automatically in for what it usually needs. You have to continue that after lvl20 manually every time you level up, to enhance your skills, to get the good stuff in :D

Back on island, there is some NPCs arround the teleport tower, that let you choose a side or give you missions to get armor and enhance your weapons.

Once you've choosen a side, you will get your ticket to the outside world, the mainland of Rubi-Ka.

The access whompa's, the teleport thingy's on Rubi-Ka, will bring you near to your factions main city.

Omni goes to Rome, Neutral go to Borealis and Clan go to West Athen.

Now you should be somewhat level 8-20, have some armor, enhanced weapons, healingstims and rechargers as well as about 10-20k credits, our currency, just credz.

It is nearly impossible to have success in Anarchy Online without reading forever.

Its all written inside of the NPC texts as well and sometimes there are nice perks hidden :)

While killing in the subway, you get some more loot, what sells for some credz in the shop terminal.

You may notice the drop of implants, that contain 3 slots for skill enhancements.

Find a Surgery Clinic inside of a shop and right click it, to implant implants xD

You can tradeskill your own implants by getting a empty implant and add Clusters to it.

Your way throu the levels should teach you also a lot and once you reached lvl 26, you cannot enter the Subway anymore.

You may have found your mission agency and the way to the Temple of Three Winds, the first real experience, how to get trained or teamed with really nice people.

I guess, you can call yourself a citizen of Rubi-Ka then, as you made the experience already, that for every thing you learned, 2 more things to learn pop up. Dont wonder, that continues for some years.
