Apart from the missions from the Mission Terminal, where can I go to get uninstanced quests? I like to run into someone every now and then while adventuring, which missions seem to prohibit. I'm a level 12 Neutral. |

There are a few NPC's - like the ones where you zone into Borealis, who have quests for chars in the 10-20 range - and they tend to daisy-chain onto each other. Aside from that there are almost no 'non instanced' quests in the game at low levels. There is a group of NPC's at the bronto stand in Holes in The Wall with quests for ppl lvl 100-130ish, than the lvl 200+ ppl got some quests. There are also the 'social clothing' quests, mainly around Newland Desert, that can be done at any lvl but really need flying vehicles to do them effectively. But AO is not at all like WoW, where all the NPC's standing around have quests. 80% of your leveling will be from instanced missions or killing wild mobs on your own, and the rest in semi-instanced temples and dungeons. |
