Assume you have an account that you haven't used in five years. The only expansion enabled is Notum Wars. No Shadowlands or anything after. Can you use that old account and get access to your old characters or must you start a new account to get the free offer (or the 5 buck SL offer for that matter). |

If you have AO and Notum Wars only on that account, then it qualifies as a free account. Best way to check is go to the account page and login. If it doesn't show active, then hit reactivate. It should change to active with no billing info needed. If it doesn't automatically flag as free because of how old it is, just send a note to support and they'll fix it up. Once you have it active, then you can upgrade to the SL offer or the full package, if you want. Or just pllay free with AO/NW. Remember though, if you upgrade the account, you can't make it a free account again afterwards.
