HomeLAN - First, are you pleased with the reactions that Asheron's Call II has received from players and game critics?

Ken Troop - Everyone on the AC2 development and Live teams has been very happy with the numerous Best of...and Game of the Year awards that AC2 has won: IGN, RPGDot, Gamer's Pulse...and we just won PC Gamer's 2002 MMPG of the year. It was also recently announced that AC2 is an Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) finalist for 2002 Best MMPG. The reviewers and our players understood what we were striving for in AC2: a very user-friendly MMP, with a focus on fun. People have been really awed by how easy it is to just get in and play AC2...they're used to MMPGs being very difficult and intimidating, especially for the casual player. And of course, everyone is blown away by how beautiful AC2 is, which is certainly what we were expecting.
