1.) How many servers are in the beta? And what ruleset is it?
2.) Is this game easy to get into or am I gonna be ultra confused?
3.) Are there respecs in this game? |

Originally posted by Raserei One server, Dawnsong. It's a "white" server, so KvK only in certain areas. No open PvP. It's a game that came out in 2002 and the UI, while familiar, takes some getting used to compared to what most games have today. It has no stats, but does have classes, based on the race you pick. It has quests but not an abundance of them. You spend earned XP into levelling skills from several trees. If you decide you don't want a skill afterall, you can flag it to unlearn, and once you've earned as much XP as you spent to raise it's level, it'll be unlearned and you'll have the XP again to spend elsewhere. There is an NPC who allows you to respec 5 skills a week, and additional tokens to respec a single skill can be found as rare loot. Edited to correct erroneous info on respeccing.

Originally posted by Daft I would assume they plan on doing something with it. The beta is being used to fix bugs for the most part right now I believe. What happens if they decide to do an official re-release, who knows. Hopefully we'll hear more from Turbine about what their plans are for the game. |

I'm glad they did a re release of it, as I never got a chance originally to try the first release. It's actually one of the best mmorpg's I have played so far and I'm only an hour into it. Not much hand holding and I really enjoy the coordinate system and how the game plays in general, sure it has missing animations but it all kind of adds together for a really cool experience.

im obviously not hardcore enough. im quite frankly lost in game. Fallen Earth and Vanguard are my games of choice right now so i know im not a complete loss. just not sure what's going on. i had heard there were no npcs to speak of (there are a few apparently) but ive found no mobs to simply grind in place of quests. "There are at least two kinds of games. |

Does it still have the soul and spirit of AC1? If you would have to compare what are the main differences between AC1 and 2?
