Asheron's Call 2 was the sequel to Asheron's Call, and featured different content and gameplay dynamics. As with the original AC, AC2 set players on the planet Auberean, where a cataclysmic event had changed the continent of Dereth. Players represented the survivors returning to their homeland to reclaim and restore the land.

• KvK | In Kingdom vs Kingdom, players could join with one of the kingdoms (Order, Shadow, and Dominion) to help attack enemy forts, or defend their own.
