Asheron's Call 2 is the sequel to Turbine Entertainment's Asheron's Call, and features different content and gameplay dynamics than its predecessor. As with the original AC, AC2 sets players on the planet Auberean, where a cataclysmic event has changed the continent of Dereth. Players represent the survivors returning to their homeland to reclaim and restore the land. The game was originally shut down in December of 2005, but has been revived by Turbine with a new active beta server.
