Square Enix has announced that the second phase of the closed beta for the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now live and players can join in to help bring the game to full release polish.
Phase 2 of the Beta uses the live game servers, so players can join other PC and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system players and use existing characters in the Beta. New characters and player progress created during this phase can be transferred at the start of the official service that begins with the release on Monday, April 14th. In addition, anybody that pre-orders the game (either the Standard or the limited Collector’s Edition) can join Early Access that begins on Friday, April 11th.
