SpiderMind Games has started its KickStarter project to bring a robust tabletop RPG based on Elite: Dangerous to the world. KickStarter funds will be used to fund production and publication of a core manual and four supplements to get players started on galactic domination. Elite: Dangerous RPG will use a D10 skill based system with players starting with a basic ship that can progress throughout the campaign.
Elite: Dangerous Role Playing Game (EDRPG) is an interactive adventure you share with a group of friends. It is set in a futuristic galaxy in which spaceflight is common, amazing technology is freely available, and danger is everywhere. As a player you will own your own spacecraft and travel to fantastic locations, exploring new worlds, defeating deadly enemies and outwitting powerful opponents who will stop at nothing to destroy you.
SpiderMind is hoping to raise £45,000 and are well on the way with nearly £30,000 already in the bag.
