New PvP Map & Game Mode Coming with Update 15

Elder Scrolls Online PvPers will be happy to hear that Update 15 and the Horns of the Reach DLC will be bringing a pair of new features online. First off, players will be able to take part in Chaosball when it enters the Grab Bag queue. The Arcane University map will also be part of Update 15.

The goal of Chaosball is simple: Hold onto the ball and wrack up points for your team. Just try not to get killed doing it! The team that reaches 500 points first, wins.

While carrying the ball, you can use your character's abilities to defend yourself and stay alive, but you can't drop the ball or pass it to your fellow players. That means that whoever carries the ball has it for life--as long or as short as that may be! This challenges your team to bring new and unique strategies to the Battlegrounds and places greater emphasis on traditional PvE roles like tanking and healing.

Arcane University is a larger Battleground map that brings door-to-door fighting to bear. There are tons of vertical elements that allow players to both climb and break "line of sight".

When inside the university itself, you can use stairs to climb up to the building's middle level and a series of portals (similar to those found in Ularra) to teleport to the upper level. This will allow you to ambush the enemy teams below and move safely from one side of the map to the other. If you're clever, you can even find places on the upper level where you can utilize abilities like the Sorcerer's Bolt Escape to quickly travel from one side to the other, helping you elude enemy pursuit.

You can read more about each on the Elder Scrolls Online site.
