The Prime: Battle for Dominus site has been updated with new information about bases. Player-built military bases introduce an RTS-like element into the game.
Players will have to collect and assemble materials to construct their bases. Bases consist of several components: Command Center, Medical Facility, Power Generator, Shield Generator, Armory, Mining Platform and Turret. According to the dev team, bonuses and benefits will be available to players successfully building military bases. But players beware: The attack and destruction of bases is a paramount goal of other factions.
The Prime team also released some raw beta footage from the closed beta test. This video consists entirely of actual beta footage, using beta testers. The action is not scripted or edited, and absolutely none of it was produced by a third party or outside group. Strictly homegrown fun.
