ok this one's tough as nails so far.. tried it 3 or 4 times. Most recently with Pyre and Magrid running touch ranger builds, three healers, Ogden, Mhenlo, and Lina, and Herta and Cynn.. they managed to survive a bit better than the previous attempts but could hardly put a dent in Cyndr's HP bar. I tried it with a degen group, that didn't last long at all.. I'm playing an Assassin. I found out I can use a slightly modified solo-sin build to bring down Cyndr's harded defenses with very little counter attack risk since pyroclastic shot can't target me in shadow form, but beyond that I've yet to hammer down a strategy for this boss. I've read the wiki, official and unofficial ones and have tried a few things from there but no results so far other than DP so high the entire party is a one-shot-kill, anywho any ideas are appreciated. Had a tank running the barrels to break his shell, interupt ranger. Of course our monks along with myself and another nuker. I always run this mission with three Touch Ranger heroes, along with Menlo, Herta, Lina, and Zho. ALWAYS. It usually works like a charm. The touch rangers need to be set on aggressive, locked onto the target, equipped with wands/focus items, and flagged at Cyndr as soon as he pops up. Forget the barrels. And down he goes. Have your own character lend healing support, degen, wards, and/or interrupt support, depending on its class.
