At least this was a good list of total failure games.  I got to say the comments about scarlet blade were spot on, and I have to ask why on earth are you guys still running them.

Well the only way a ban is going to work is by an ipaddress and heck there are software programs that let you mask and change that.  So no I don't think bans in free to play games will work unless they can somehow ban that person by ip and email, and by internet provider. 

There are would be times in many mmo's that you would kill a 4 legged creature like a deer, or goat,  and yes 10 rats.  And the would drop coin and armor.  I used to tell myself you don't want to know where that rat had that helm stashed. 

First off I got directtv, and I don't need my xbox being my tv tuner.  Second off I don't have kenetix I have just a regular xbox 360 I hardly play that. 

So from what all I seen they tried to put everything and the kitchen sink in there, and I don't think its going to work too well. 

I just think they over reached. 

So the op spent 200 bucks,  you knew what you were getting were talking pwe.  So you got your stuff, your items, and an account.  Then went over to discover and told them you got defrauded??

So PWE banned you.   Did you really think they were going to let you keep an account with all those goodies after you told your credit card company you were defrauded. 

Just who is committing the fraud here.  OP you should realize when you do that I don't care if its PWE, or Turbine, of SOE, the minute you tell your credit card company it was fraud, they will ban that account. 

So yes problem solved for both sides.   Honestly come to come over in these forums and gripe that you been banned after you tried to get something for free,  I got another word for that.   Credit card fraud is a crime and just because you called discover and reported this, does not mean this is going to go well for you once the investigation is over.  Discover will investigate this and if they determined no fault on pwe those charges come back, and you take a hit to your credit score. 

Lets face the truth hear, was it a money decision that drove you from rift or was it something else.  In my case something else.  So going free to play does not change that.   Let face another truth, how many games have you had a sub too that went free to play that you have went back and played?   For me this would be tsw, sto, vangaurd, dcuo, lotro; all of those have went free to play and I have yet to go back and the answer was it was not the money it was what was the game and the decisions being made.  The same will be with rfit, so not interested in going back.  

I got to say this has been common place in most mmo's.  Hire a huge staff then get the product out the door and fire everybody except the support staff.

Honestly I think thing at Trion are in bad shape, and I don't think they are going to be in business if things keep up.  We not just talking rift and defiance,  were talking the entire studio. 

Well the one thing about the entire game was you did not need an alt.   The wheel grind as I call it, the daily logging in to redo the same old mission over and over to build up points in the wheel.  You eventually had everything filled out, and could spec for whatever flavor of the month club there was. 

It was a great game for oh about 3 month then then It got boring.  Just to much of rinse and repeat. 

The first time though I usually read the story, but on alts its click click give me the quest already

This a million times over, and not one of those softball questions asked about the ui, or the chat system.  It felt more of an advertisement than an interview. 

All I can say is I agree with the this,  I know a lot of folks who lately come back to eq2 that had been huge rift supports are making claims of how slow the game has become and how the population is in full decline. 

This might fix things for them, or not.  Who knows. 

I been playing EQ2 since 2005 That is 8 years of gameplay.   I also played LOTRO for about 1.5 years of gameplay, until they were bought out and went free to play.

I tried all kinds of different MMO's none of them even begin to stack up. 

No the art style is not suited for those of us in the United states, it looks like another wow with updated graphics and quite frankly I am not interested in the least about the anime style of art they use. 

I would not send a copy of anything, sounds like somebody is trying to do id theft on the op.   Send a copy of a passport, who has that unless they travel outside the county.  Somebody falling for a good phishing scam. 

I have played both TSW is a much better mmo in my book.  

I think there is an hour cool down on pvp to prevent you from switching sides to rig the game in pvp.  Since you character was of the opposite faction, It was put in place to keep you from capturing soul wells then logging back over to recapture them. 

All one has to do is look at torstatus.net to realize ea is fudgeing the numbers yet again.
