/agree

More details needed but so far me likey AvA!

Agree withTekaelon & Nihilist:  Open world PvP is messy and rarely fun, I much prefer instanced if the gameplay is good.   Reviews make it sound like GA gameplay will hold up.

Glad to hear there's no zerg and still waiting on beta to check it out first hand.

Ok, I was slightly wrong on the title, but the concept stays the same. Hirez has no backing from any well known deep pocketed company. This is all off one person's cash.

and clearly NOT just another WoW-wannabee.

Good to see they aren't afraid to try something a bit, uh... DIFFERENT!

'gratz to GLOBAL AGENDA !

I've been waiting forever to get my FPS fix AND my MMO fix in one tasty package.  Looks like GA may deliver.

now can I get into beta?

From this guys explanation it sounds like the game is pvp but they're trying to dress it up as an mmorpg.

It does sound like PvP focus, but also clearly IS an mmo - just with smaller battles.  Which to me is a very good thing.

"within Global Agenda, the battles are instanced, but the War is persistent and massive"

He also says one instance can dynamically affect another instance.  I agree with ProfRed - sounds like a great setup.   Can't wait for this one!

great game for pre-made groups

It is totally an MMO.  A fun one too.

I'm waiting on 3D version but still an MMO right now.

Game looks beautiful.  Nice job!

fun single-player MMO since I never paid sub.

RIP.

Instead of getting a gaming laptop, they should get a Netbook to do homework and a Gaming PC to play games.  It will even come in cheaper then a Gaming Laptop solution and look better.

+1.  stick with desktop/gaming pc to playgames

Yes.  The missions are repetitive and gameplay is simple but CoH is still one of my favorites.   These things do not have to be complex to be fun.  Simple goals, cool powers, ability to play with friends = fun IMHO.
