Have to agree with you. The enviroments are amazing too, as well as the art style and fluid animations, not to mention how cool the mobs are. Luckily I'm playing as a lancer and have only waited a few seconds while using the lfg matchmaker. I am enjoying it however just wondering what the pvp is going to be like, I'm playing on a pvp server where I was under the assumption I could attack or be attacked at any time, but it seems you have to flag yourself for pvp.

I've said it before, big title mmorpg's brought many new players into the fold, gone are the days of the close knit, die hard "yes M'lady" crowd from rpg games like EQ.

The reoccuring theme with the bulk of unhappy ex players is the way they typically play the game, (a quick caviot) I don't mean every single person fits this mold so use common sense at will.

You hear it time and again, people play a little of the starter worlds quests,  they pee vee pee non stop,  the planet quests turn grey, they jam through the personal story and hit 50 in a week or two.

The same people will tell you how much they hate the planets and the linear quests and so on, open world pvp is all that matters ect. even though most of them haven't seen anymore of the individual worlds outside of the flight paths to the class quests they jammed through.

It's the way I and many others played Warcraft, rip through the levels, get to endgame so you can farm gear in the arena or raids, and then quit because you are bored.

I am utterly content to play my character, fly to a planet and entrench myself in the content, levels happen with a story unfolding from talking, living beings in the worlds.

Sorry if this rpg game didn't meet your fps style, contrary to the silly and typical sky is falling crowd here, the game is still in existence and after a few months now, developement is ongoing to make it better.

You sure you are playin the same game? The problem with SWTOR is the planets are dull and linear, they don't seem open at all. I don't see how you "entrench" yourself in content in a game that has very limited content besides the main quest lines.

It was done 12 years ago, it was called Ultima Online 

This is a bloody joke, servers offline entire day til 4pm? Why can't they do this while people are asleep. One day i'm not at work and they decide to do this. Who the hell came up with the idea of doing maintenance during the day? I hope they get this changed can't imagine many are happy with these maintenance times.

You completely don't get star wars at all kid. It's not meant to be futuristic at all. It a space opera saga, not science fiction. So yea, I think you are wierd.

Wow this looks bad

It does suck, pretty anime graphics, same old asian mmo style of play and grind. All these games just remind me of lineage 2, except in this you have wings. Lame. Even if it was f2p I wouldn't touch it again.

Just like normal life, people who don't do much work or who just suck at what they do get far. Let's hope he doesn't have any say in Marvel comics haha...

In any case, in order to find what you can't, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to your Rift account page (should be https://session.trionworlds.com/login?service=http%3A%2F%2Frift.trionworlds.com%2Fj_spring_cas_security_check).
2. Insert login and password
3. There should be a column on the left side. Go to "Manage Games"
4. On the bottom right corner a button should appear that says "Change subscription". Press it.
5. Press the cancel button to cancel subscription
6. Done

{mod edit} I've played MMO's for over 10 years and got an email from Trion yseterday saying they have tried to charge me but it failed, so that has nothing to do with it. The reason for me was because i used paypal as payment and cancelled the sub through paypal. The buttons are hard to find, and the cancel button i used did nothing on the management page. Pressing delete next to listed payment method didn't work either. As long as you cancelle in paypal its fine, as you have proof you ended the sub.

Anyone there?
