maybe they just don't want any other MMOs to steal what they are creating alot of gaming companies have been known too do this... persay if they throw up a bunch of screenies and give out there features and how they work 10 months before there release then that gives another MMO in development time to cash in on there ideas... I think thats what DFO is trying to do keep everything quiet untill a month before launch I bet by the end of nov you will be hearing alot from DFO community and game creators.

They are pushing for late dec 08 as the release date it wont be a year.

I'm in dire need of a fun MMO to play I have played almost everything in the MMO list under released games besides a few and guild wars is one I have yet to try... I hear good things about it then I hear utterly bad things about it.  Is the game top notch is just something I would want to play to take a break from the likes of  WoW.  How does the leveling system in Guild Wars work? is it easy to level up because I enjoy end game pvp and dont want to spend a month getting 1 character to near max level.  Also how does the grinding system fair can I grind and get decent loot/exp?  or should I stick to questing in GW to get good exp?  any feedback would be great thx.

I doubt it will fail but I doubt it will take off... too many carebears who dont like pvp will turn away from the game.  I plan to play it and I hope it's a good game its the only MMO I rly want to play at this point, im also looking forwards to mortal online can't wait too see some videos and get more info on it.

has anyone read/visited any sites that has some of the features or even the name of Blizzards new MMO title?  I heard about it on g4tv but other then that I can't find any real info on the game.  Hopefuly it will be sucessful and offer something new to othe mmo community.

I rarely say this but this game is going to be a epic fail...   with all the other MMO out there and ones releasing this game stands no chance of surviving... hopefuly im wrong for those who want to play this but this game does not appeal too me at all and I play basicly all MMOs that are on the market!

Right now im running windows XP, AMD Phenom 9500 QUAD 2.2ghz, 2GB ram, 8600GT 256 nvidia, onboard asus 7.1 audio, 1mb DSL connection.

I still can't run EQ2, Vangaurd or Age of Conan and a couple other off line games on max settings with AA set  to max! and it's anoying me cause i just bought this rig a few months ago what do I need to upgrade too?  links from newegg or anyother site would be nice so I can look at the products.  I'm planing on playing darkfall online when it releases and I must play it on max everything!! lol so any help/feedback would be great.

Why would they put so much time and effort into something then try to use it as a scam?  they would lose more then they would have ever gained... darkfall is not a scam and im sure you will see it on the selfs before end of summer 09. 

Is there a downloadable out yet that would allow me to try out this game? or do I have to find a buddy key?
 

I would chose to play DAOC over Warhammer if they would revamp DAOC and add a few new features to draw back alot of people... I like daoc alot better then warhammer, I think warhammer is shallow and bland all it really has is pvp instances and here and there rvr.   DAOC is just a all around better game.

Darkfall online guys it offers all the same game play shadowbane does, it's also has more advanced features and game play and alot better graphics.  I played SB for 3 years now I can't play it at all because DF just looks so much better its what shadowbane shoulda been imo.

SoE butchers MMO games... they have some much in there hands to work with then they epic fail when they could be bigger then WoW... how can a gaming company that puts all its efforts into MMOs make such lacking MMOs?!  come on SOE give us something worth while or get outta the biz imo.

Vangaurd, Matrix and EQ2 has alot too offer if SOE would just capitolize on the games.. Vangaurd could be up to par with WoW if SoE would invest in it... but I guess some ppl dont know what they got till it's gone.

Yeah I hope there is 1 or two mage type skills that allow for single flight or grp that would be fun in pvp, sorta like furies from shadowbane... fly a full grp into battle on top of the E.

I hope it's not a failure!  I got my hopes up alot waiting for this game if it's a failure i'll be sad lol AoC broke my spirits when it released so im counting on DF too be full of awesomeness "crosses fingers" lol

Has anyone heard of a expanion in the works for AoC? I would really like to see a couple more races and 1 new class too go with each of those and some extended game play added.  It's a fun game just started to get bored with it...  hopefuly they have something lined up for it that will compare it too DFO.  Has anyone heard anything??

has anyone heard about a role play enforced elven "mirdain guild forming or formed?  i would be interested in signing up with the likes of this clan.  

DAOC is a better game personaly I think mythic wasted time money and effort on warhammer online when they just could have made a 2nd DAOC and added onto the great features it already had... really what a waste imo makes me sad.

i agree.. i see DFO atleast getting released at this point mortal is a "what if"  I plan on trying mortal if they release it.  I try all MMO atleast once.. but from what im reading about DFO it will probably be my main game for awhile if they come through with all they are supposely gonna implant into the game.

MMOs are my favorite games too play I will try any MMO once... but i've been playing MMO sense around 99 so im a picky customer.  I've seen it all and done it probably 1000x lol my problem is im just bored with the current MMOs they all are the same too me some have a few better feature but nothing that makes them really stand out too me like they did back in the day.

After maxing out characters on WoW, LOTRO & DAOC i've really tired of those kinda mmos so I rag on them and mostly give negative feedback to whatever they are trying to do because frankly it ain't good enough they are taking the same ball and painting it a different color and saying here is something tottaly new and never done before! take the ball and run with it!  no thank you sir. untill you can come up with something thats worth a damn im gonna negative feedback you untill you come out with something that's really new and emproved and has more gameplay.

Take Warhammer online and age of conan they are newer MMO but they didn't do shit with there MMOs to make them any different then the rest they just put there own classes and questing in the game and sold the game saying all these great things they have done with the game thats gonna be the next big thing.  I compare everything too WoW because it sets the genre for the current MMO and untill someone can give me something better im gonna throw up WOW and kick there MMO untill I get what I want.  Right now im waiting on DFO it seems to be the only MMO that may be able to feed my hungar for a good MMO or half way decent on atleast.
