I hope for a speedy US launch because I wanna play, and Rift sucks.

Loot inventory only, full loot is lame...  it almost ruined darkfall.

I plan to play them both and that hype meter is a joke... some of those games in the top 10 are terrible MMOs.

I have enjoyed the game greatly. I would recommend it to friends anyday.

Its a fun MMO, only MMO I have played in about 7-8 years I found worth buying.

To many crappy games out there for me to spend my every last dollar on... games like Game of Thrones, a company living on the hype of the books/show. They will have me to pay them $40 for that steamin pile of crap.  I will just download it for free, save me time and money.  The only way I buy a game is if it has a community/online purpose.

I buy games if they're really good, but its rare anything is really good anymore.  I will buy Skyrim, games of that caliber deserve my hard earned coin.  So until those shoty 2nd rate, crap feeding companies step up their games, I will be trying before I be buying. 

I just watched all the profession videos on the offical site... from MMORPG I got the impression this game was the next best thing since WoW launch... it looks like crap imo, its so anime and the animations are silly/laughable/chessey.  I dunno why this game is at the top of the hype listed, I think it will be a big let down, and drop off the radar after a couple months just like the first one.

Companies will learn the hard way over and over I guess.  Crappy arse graphics/paper doll/lifeless looking beings and crappy PvE won't keep anyone around for long. WAR had fun PvP mini games, and that's about it... the battlegrounds were okay but nothing amazing.  I have thought from time to time to pick back up on my lvl 30 black guard and complete the game.  I then look at the graphics, the enviroment and the general sense of the game, and I lose interest fast.

The game was poorly designed and a lacking clone of WoW, the only thing it had going for it was half decent PvP. Today what?  30% of people buying MMOs wanna PvP hardcore...  If the game had put more effort into more armor, better models and better characte creation/develepment it mighta been a hot number by now.

If a MMO doesn't allow me to be me, well I have no use for it.  I enjoying being different and looking different from the other real peple I play alongside.

If they would make this game F2P it would be massive in terms of playerbase.  They could just make the game $59.95 and call it a day, none of that $15 a month BS anymore.  I don't mind store items, just as long as they don't over do it with elite gear that messes up end game PVP and such.

AoC is alright, but nothing special, I have a 80 barb, 71 ToS and a 51 Guardian.  The game lacks a steady/loyal population...  The AC never has any items of value, it has a very limited section due to the dead/slow population.  I have been re-sub'd the past month and located 1 group after playing each night for about 6 days in a row.  Funcom, they're beating a dead horse with AoC. The game just never took off from the gate like some of the other MMOs on the market.

The downside is no one really wants to grind out those 80 levels, most people came into AoC for the lore/PVP, but found themselves in a dead zone finding groups, quests for their level. Most were just trying to grind out levels, and from the dead space which is the lack of groups.  When the game launched you almost had to just kill mobs from 67-70 because quests were no where to be seen.

AoC had high hopes, but it was a failure in terms of where it is today.  Its F2P and still funcom has a hard time keeping people around, and that says a lot.  I just hope TSW is a much better game in terms of keeping us fans involved, grouped, and with good steady content, that's actually worth while in game.

Still can't help but feel like I'm getting strung along though.  When's it coming out? Soon... They've been saying it for years now.  Any sort of delays (even if it is only beta) just reinforce it.  'Better a quality game than a rushed one' bullshit aside I just hope the estimated release doesn't get pushed back (not that we'd be able to tell).  

 This game definitely has the vibe of being old news. It's been in the public eye for 3 years. That's way too long for a game that's obviously going to generate a ton of hype the second it's announced. 

It doesn't help that the graphics and gameplay aren't really groundbreaking either. I think when TOR is finally released it's going to feel like we've been playing it for a couple years already.

 

 Wrong, trust me! The game is very, very good.  I have played LOTRO, WOW, WAR, SB, DF, MO, COH, COV, CO, RIFT, EVE, AOC, EQ, EQ2, DAOC etc. etc. and SWTOR is the best MMO I have ever had to chance glaze upon in a sense.  I won't go into very much detail, even none at all because that leads to arguements. All I will say is this game is great, its nothing like a MMO its a RPG and IMO after playing NVN, KOTOR 1/2, Dragonage 1/2 SWTOR is better than both in story and gameplay... I can't express how fun the game is and anyone who loves MMORPG's will truly enjoy this game its top notch.  The screenshots don't tell the entire story, this game takes the best of WAR, WOW and games like DA, KOTOR, NVN and wraps it all into one big awesome package.  Anyone who has had a taste of this game would probably tell you no different.

I am buying this game as soon as its out period.  I haven't seen a MMO this interesting sense 02 when I first seen previews for WoW.   You have to face the music and the facts MMO fans.  You have yet to play a MMO that tops WoW in all means.  It just hasn't happened, and I have looked at and played MMOs for years.  However, I can look at SWTOR and tell right off the bat it will be a ground breaking MMO.  It will be the next big thing on the MMO scene... You have to ask yourself will you be apart of a well polished fine game or you will remain in a search spending cash on all these second rate MMOs. 

Well not me, I am not going to buy anymore of these crappy MMOs that bring nothing to the table but annoying bugs.  Age of Conan, Fallen Earth, Vanguard, Warhammer Online, Darkfall Online, Aion, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars... All of these I was siked for, but they turned out to be utter crap in the long run.  They lost population, fanbase and subs because they stunk up the MMO world.  There can only be one MMO at the top we all should know that by now.  If there will ever be a game to take the crown WoW has been holding, its SWTOR.  I am a fan yes, but I am a fan of all MMOs... don't label me as a fanboy, but someone who speaks his mind, I've been doing MMOs for 12+ years.

Boring...  The game lacks end game, such a failure.

Rift sucks just anothe WoW clone in the mainstream of MMOs... I played BETA, and I am glad I got to BETA test Rift.  That way I didn't waste money on it because I don't like knock off MMOs.

I played the game through pre-order/BETA pasted few days.  It's really good...  Its the MMO I have been waiting for, now if they can just get the combat system down pat and tweak crafting parts.  I will be in love with the game.

I see you play LOTRO trust me.  More people play CO than LOTRO WAYYYY more, I play both games.

Since they have WAR now & I am sure they're working on something new they should make DAOC free to play...  I would play it for sure then.
