Yeah, you're probably right. Anarchy Online has a really low player base, I've also been playing Anarchy Online since around 2003. I currently have a 219 engineer tradeskiller on it, when I was active I was one of the only tradeskillers available.

Not too sure about Warhammer Online however, when I played it last year a lot of people were still playing.
However, I did play the European version and not the American one.

I'm quite excited about APB (All Points Bulletin) I hope it will be as good as the trailers make us believe it is.

I will be soon making a site for There.com, to remember people what the game was like, I'm making a lot of in-game footage for the last couple of days that it is going to be online for.

I agree, however There.com was my "home" before Second Life really reached out to the world. I was on Second Life the same year as There.com, just a few months later. But I have many many good memories with old friends who I have met on There.com.

There.com used to be a world for ages 18+ at first, then changed to PG13. At the time it was 18+ I had many friends with who I talked on voicechat and most I am still in contact with outside of the world.

I'm just glad There.com has existed, as I have probably learned a lot "There". Like speaking english fluently just by talking on voicechat, you can't even tell that I'm from the Netherlands just because I used to speak to people on There.com on voicechat often. :)

I've been a member of There.com since early beta stages 2003, it's been a lot of fun for me in the past.

I do not play anymore because of worlds like Second Life, however CEO Michael Wilson announced that There.com is shutting down on the 9th of March 2010.

I just wanted to be sure that everyone on MMORPG that played this game is aware of this.

It has really been a bad year for MMORPG's, and hopefully the new games coming out this year will be having more luck at this.

 APB ( All Points Bulletin ) is coming this year, which should be good hopefully. And I'm sure there will be some other games coming out that will be worth playing.

 I liked wonderking, enjoyed playing it.... until they banned Europe from playing their servers. Same with Dragon Oath, wasted my time downloading it as they put a ban on Europe. It's really ridiculous, it's not my problem they have a European department for their company. We shouldn't be restricted to playing what they want us to. If I want to play on a US server then that is my choice.

Yes, I know this has nothing to do with voting, but these two companies definitely lost my respect.

Have you tried FFXI?  FFXI allows to you play a combination of any of the jobs in the game, and you can switch between the jobs by going to your house and swapping.  There's a ton of classes/jobs in FFXI, one of my favorites was the Dark Knight, which was a combination of a warrior and black mage (pretty fun class).

Also, FFXI has got all of the things you listed.

FFXI has a gameplay style which hasnt been done before in an FF game........ so to say you don't like the final fantasy style of gameplay is irrelivent.

Well said.   If Darkfall interested you before you noticed the horrible community and drama, check out the upcoming Mortal Online. 

I've never actually played either of the two games that you mentioned, but using your list of features and considering community I suggest Saga of Ryzom.  And even better, if you can manage to get into the beta, there is Linkrealms.
