You know what, stop being silly. There's a law still on the books in VA saying it's illegal to have anal sex. Does that stop anyone? No one is in anyone's bedroom. Any two people can get married anywhere or have whatever kinda sex they want and you know it. Taxes on the other hand are not optional so just cut the worthless rhetoric. |

All republicans have done this whole election is fear monger, and it’s not working at all. Either way it’s provided me with entertainment, glad it’ll all be over in a few days. Remember to vote if you haven’t already. xD

Lets just hope Obama can help. I'll let you in on a little secret....America's middle class is far more important to global stability than America's wealthy could ever hope to be. We are the one's who do the work; we are the ones who pay the bills! I was laughing at this too. The only Tickle down I want to see is out of Palin's ***.

The patriot act will probably seem mild compared to the encroaching anti-privacy legislation as a result. Individual freedom and empowerment will be a thing of the past as small businesses are punished. It's really going to the crapper now. |

Yeah it makes sense that the more hardcore MMO players would turn democratic since they loose all creativity and motivation for career and work. What losers. |

This economic crap and Obama as president all points to the end of the middle-class. And no guys they aren't going to bump us up a notch. Have fun. Your only option is to join the welfare wagon and become a loser because ingenuity, risk, independence, knowledge and hard work will NOT be rewarded. |

OMG. I'm sorry but the timing is too perfect for sympathy votes. Who's going to be sympathetic towards this country when he's finished with it? |

bang on, I agree with everything you put. Jacobs has always had an unhealthy fasicination with WoW and a history of being a cry baby at VN boards. He should let PR do their job and concentrate on fixing WAR up.
Yeah he does strike me as one of those whiney types. Kinda like he just got back from seeing his therapist and "so give me a break over here!" and so on. |

Chime in all you like. He's wrong and if a game doesn't deliver not only will people move on on but they'll complain all they like on their way out the door. This site provides for this along with hundreds of others. Oh don't worry we won't tell you to leave, as you have, for not liking this neat fact. You even have the right to complain about the complainers. Isn't that nice? What I like to do judge hype, review betas, and look for bs marketing so I can complain (with a few other honest souls) about the game beforehand so people aren't totally at the mercy of the money machine and indifferent drones who disdain other players. Imagination was once a good thing by the way before video games rotted some people's brains out. It should be encouraged. I guess being a corporate robot is a better alternative? I'm sorry but nothing gets old like un-imaginative games. If you're going to point fingers, point it where it belongs. |

Wow. I didn't expect that kind of percentage for "not buying" considering this is the wow forums. Well I guess WAR fans do come here out of spite but still. I've all but decided not to buy it and have friends who for the first time ever are quitting. I was kinda wondering if we were just a snapshot of what's going on in the wider gaming world. Looks like blizz had maybe better hurry up with some of their other titles as this could be a pretty unpopular expansion. I mean sure, a ton of people will want to take their toon to 80 and players will return for the new content but everywhere I go I hear "don't want to do the same old crap again" and "I hate having to do arenas for pvp". I know blizz has to be nervous as they're adding ridiculas stuff mirroring some of WAR's features. Should be interesting to watch. |

War is on the decline, want to know why?
General Discussion « WAR (Warhammer Online) 10/22/08 7:24:19 PM
Hmm amazing. A war detracter's thread wasn't flammed by fanboys multiple times on first page. Looks like people are slowly coming around and seeing what a lot of us projected and didn't care for in the beta. One of the bloggers hit it right on the head. EA is buying up potential innovators and letting them die--maybe not on purpose but that's what's happening. I believe warhammer had real promise in the beginning. EA seems to be just relying on muscle, insane marketing, and shrewd business right now and smart gamers should stay away. I'm not sure if they'll recover and give us something fresh like battlefield again but who knows. As far as mmo's? I realized finally that I don't need a replacement. I feel like a sucker thinking about buying wrath only to do it all over again and have little respect for some of blizzards decisions lately--hoping they don't go the way of other big developers. Nope, I'm enjoying going back to classical gaming: single play rpg and online FPS... and I got my humanity back. Cheers. |

What's worse, complaining about games or complaining about other people's opinions of games? I'd take a little break from the forums if what people post effects you so much. I like this site mainly for the fact that it allows players to vent. Games for the most part suck right now so let people talk about it. Developers need all the push they can get and you better believe they read gaming forums. By the way, you won't find a developer who agrees with anything you said. If that's how they view gamers then they either aren't in business or won't be for long. :P |

I'm glad I'm not singing for either game now. Wow is same ol crap with the expansion and I don't like how they're shamelessly adding dumb things from WAR. I mean it might make it slightly better but they need to fix so much and add so much more than they are in wrath. WAR is just plain horrible on all fronts and I'm glad they're catching crap on decisions. Beta was released way to late and was way too exclusive for an open beta. We knew this in the beginning. |
