By the way, I hope Obama and his Socialism stay as far away from the White Houst as possible.

McCain believes that everyone is equal....some people are just "MORE equal" than others.  What a douche.  You may say you want the Democrats our of your pocketbooks, but some people would like the Republicans out of their bedrooms, hearts, and private lives.

You know what, stop being silly.  There's a law still on the books in VA saying it's illegal to have anal sex. Does that stop anyone?  No one is in anyone's bedroom.  Any two people can get married anywhere or have whatever kinda sex they want and you know it.  Taxes on the other hand are not optional so just cut the worthless rhetoric.

Yeah it makes sense that the more hardcore MMO players would turn democratic since they loose all creativity and motivation for career and work. What losers.

Lol you actually believe the stuff that comes out of your mouth? ROFL, that was by far one of the dumbest things I've heard in a long time. All republicans have done this whole election is fear monger, and it’s not working at all. Either way it’s provided me with entertainment, glad it’ll all be over in a few days. Remember to vote if you haven’t already. xD

...just because you don't like being called out.

Obama will take the money away from the rich and rebuild the middle class. Such a redistribution of wealth is evil, for the rich create jobs. What needs to be done to get out of this recession is to take more money away from the middle class, and give it to the rich so that more jobs are created.

Policies like the bailout are good. Giving bailout money to executives as a bonus is good. Spending bailout money on executive retreats to luxury resorts is good. Giving subsidies to the wool industry and wooden arrow shaft manufacturers is good. This is how to create more jobs.

What we need is eight more years of Bush economic policies. Obama will only destroy America by undoing all that Bush has accomplished in the last eight years. Vote McCain, he will take care of you.

Thank You! I hadn't had a good laugh today until I read this

On a side note. We have just witnessed the greatest redistribution of wealth since the 20's and 30's. All of it going to the wealthy. This is why the middle class is hurting so bad, they have been bled dry. Why is there such an emotional response when they use politics to strike back? Lets just hope Obama can help.

I'll let you in on a little secret....America's middle class is far more important to global stability than America's wealthy could ever hope to be. We are the one's who do the work; we are the ones who pay the bills!

I was laughing at this too. The only Tickle down I want to see is out of Palin's ***.

Sick.  Well thanks guys for the entertainment.  I'm glad most of you are too lazy or young to vote.

Obama's plan is to give tax incentives to household under $200k

and he was planning tax breaks for household under $250k

Those are some lovely parting gift for your dear departed Middle class.

And what about families under 200k with their own business?

When I first heard this break over the news, my thoughts immediately went to the timing involved with the announcement. Something this personal at this stage of the election really doesn't have a place in the news.

I guess I'm one of the few who also see this as a grab for the sympathy vote. Even despite his lead, perfectly good chance capitalize on the situation to make as big of a sweep as possible in this election.

He's a real bastard.  It should be an interesting ride.  Remember all the right-wing radicalism during Clinton's reign?  That will pale in comparison with what's to come.  The patriot act will probably seem mild compared to the encroaching anti-privacy legislation as a result.  Individual freedom and empowerment will be a thing of the past as small businesses are punished.  It's really going to the crapper now.

Yeah it makes sense that the more hardcore MMO players would turn democratic since they loose all creativity and motivation for career and work. What losers.

This economic crap and Obama as president all points to the end of the middle-class.  And no guys they aren't going to bump us up a notch.  Have fun.  Your only option is to join the welfare wagon and become a loser because ingenuity, risk, independence, knowledge and hard work will NOT be rewarded.

OMG.  I'm sorry but the timing is too perfect for sympathy votes.  Who's going to be sympathetic towards this country when he's finished with it?

I tried to get an answer from Azrile aka Petey-Boy in another pointless thread he made about Amazon TOP100 sales list.

My question was: "What is your Agenda?" He never answered.

Why is he posting to or even reading this forum? And his pal Chrysis... what's his plan? They've clearly stated they don't want to play this game but why bother post on the games forum?

I really hope you could stay in the WoW-forum, it's your game. And Chrysis... please contribute to Tabula Rasa, it seems to be more like your cup of tea.

My agenda?  I just enjoy the debate.   Can we go through some questions?

1.  Did elders, the day before launch have an NDA on endgame content?   Yes

No, this is false they had an NDA on elder servers not end game content.
2.  Do lots of people on this forum and the others complain about everyone being in scenarios and not enough people doing RvR?   Yes

Then agian you have a lot of wow/ aoc fanboyz too , one of which claimed his lvl 33 bladeweaver had abd experiences (BW is not a class in WAR).

3.  Do lots of people show concern about population imbalances?  Yes

Sure, but i have played on both sides being the low pop HELPS you in that sens que faster , there are always people to play with.
4.  Out of all the city seiges that have taken place.. have any of them worked?  No

How many lvl 40s we got, how equiped are they, do they know the tactics to the fights , etc. Its not supposted to be easy its supposted to be harder then MC was when it was first released.
5. Less than a month after launch, are there players asking for server mergers? Yes

Are they? im not.

And I don't recall what exact question you asked about the top 100 games sales.  The point remains that Warhammer has fallen out of the top 100 total games sales.  You can say " but only count PC games, don't count preorders and don't count games that begin with letter S"..but the fact remains...  Animal Crossing: City Folks sold more boxes than warhammer did last week.   Let's log into warhammer and count how many servers right now are at low/low and low/medium.. shall we?

Server populations have steadily decreased since launch.  Box sales are now in the Animal Crossing range and we haven't even hitten the first renewal date.

When i geta  new game i play it a ton more than a month after, however, i do believe that people have left.

But really, the only reason I'm posting here is because for the past 30 mins, I've been trying to open my ingame mail  :)

HAHA this is funny guess what mail was fixed like the 20ths i realize this was 4 days after you posted , but it just goes to show that Mythic fixes stuff fast. Mail lag no longer a issue, thank you mythic for another quick fix on a standing issue, name another company that has fixed as much as mythic and as fast... U can't.

I think someone from the PR department at Mythic should tell Mark Jacobs to shut it already. This game has alot of  obvious flaws, and will never be as successful as WoW. Hyping the game up and throwing petty insults at Blizzard after they make 1 comment, to Mythics implied suggestions in everyone of their hype videos, shows why this game has problems. Because obviously the developers behind it are unproffestional.

Everything that the developer for WoW has said is 100% true, and has been mentioned tons of times in every War related forum. Most of the problems with this game should not of been in launch, for instance how can such a terrible chat interface just slip through a beta?

It is obvious that there would be problems with faction inbalance as well, you only need to look at what happened in WoW to see that it would happen again in War, so why wasn't something done about that?

They have also designed the world to the point where people are so spread out you do not see many people around, it is an obvious flaw that should of been dealt with in their beta.

Granted they are fixing it now, but it does not change the fact that these problems are so obvious they should not of been there in the first place.

Btw the comment about the NDA is true as well, what is there to hide if your game is supposedly so briliant? If there was not the backlash from AoC regarding the missing content I bet you they would of never told anyone about their missing content till a few days before release.

However I believe his comment about NDAs was aimed at the industry as a whole and not just Mythic who are obviously guilty of the same act.

All that said, Blizzard should not scoop to such a low level when they are the market leader and set the example nor should Mythic, whom MJ is obviously representive of, should not of responded to it.

Ive lost even more respect for both of these companies now. Its bad enough they make us pay for betas, but they need to act like children in a mud slinging match as well. It is quite sad that these 2 companies are the market leaders. Also puts into question how are they going to turn around actual design flaws if they act like this.

bang on, I agree with everything you put. Jacobs has always had an unhealthy fasicination with WoW and a history of being a cry baby at VN boards. He should let PR do their job and concentrate on fixing WAR up.

Yeah he does strike me as one of those whiney types.  Kinda like he just got back from seeing his therapist and "so give me a break over here!" and so on.

Rofl why it that posts that have anything to do with WoW always gets a lot of attention?

As far as i am concerned this is another redundant as*ed post, because whether the NDA was lifted or not is inconsequential, as WAR is a success, if it wasnt then maybe it would have been an issue.

If it was a single-player game war would have been a mild success at best.  Being it's an mmo the jury's still out wouldn't you say?

I agree with the OP. If you don't like a game...don't complain about it. Go find a game you DO like. These holy crusades for justice when a game has betrayed you really get old, but I guess that's what you get when your target group is a bunch of people with over-active imaginations. Games don't fail. You just don't like what they offer. If you don't like what they offer...move the hell on.

Chime in all you like.  He's wrong and if a game doesn't deliver not only will people move on on but they'll complain all they like on their way out the door.  This site provides for this along with hundreds of others.  Oh don't worry we won't tell you to leave, as you have, for not liking this neat fact.  You even have the right to complain about the complainers.  Isn't that nice?  What I like to do judge hype, review betas, and look for bs marketing so I can complain (with a few other honest souls) about the game beforehand so people aren't totally at the mercy of the money machine and indifferent drones who disdain other players.

Imagination was once a good thing by the way before video games rotted some people's brains out.  It should be encouraged.  I guess being a corporate robot is a better alternative?  I'm sorry but nothing gets old like un-imaginative games.  If you're going to point fingers, point it where it belongs.

I didn't say anything about the developers. I talked about the companies. The developers probobly really have good intentions but that isn't always shown in the approved finished product. The company umbrellas dictate whats on the shelves and they don't care about you.

The developers are also companies so you would need to be more specific if that's what you meant.  We still have a thing called capitalism so although publishers and investors are more distant than devs they still ultimately care what consumers think.  We are where their money comes from.  Getting this yet?

Wow.  I didn't expect that kind of percentage for "not buying" considering this is the wow forums.  Well I guess WAR fans do come here out of spite but still.

I've all but decided not to buy it and have friends who for the first time ever are quitting.  I was kinda wondering if we were just a snapshot of what's going on in the wider gaming world.

Looks like blizz had maybe better hurry up with some of their other titles as this could be a pretty unpopular expansion.  I mean sure, a ton of people will want to take their toon to 80 and players will return for the new content but everywhere I go I hear "don't want to do the same old crap again" and "I hate having to do arenas for pvp".

I know blizz has to be nervous as they're adding ridiculas stuff mirroring some of WAR's features.  Should be interesting to watch.

Hmm amazing.  A war detracter's thread wasn't flammed by fanboys multiple times on first page.  Looks like people are slowly coming around and seeing what a lot of us projected and didn't care for in the beta.

One of the bloggers hit it right on the head.  EA is buying up potential innovators and letting them die--maybe not on purpose but that's what's happening.  I believe warhammer had real promise in the beginning. EA seems to be just relying on muscle, insane marketing, and shrewd business right now and smart gamers should stay away.  I'm not sure if they'll recover and give us something fresh like battlefield again but who knows.

As far as mmo's?  I realized finally that I don't need a replacement.  I feel like a sucker thinking about buying wrath only to do it all over again and have little respect for some of blizzards decisions lately--hoping they don't go the way of other big developers.  Nope, I'm enjoying going back to classical gaming: single play rpg and online FPS... and I got my humanity back.  Cheers.

What's worse, complaining about games or complaining about other people's opinions of games? I'd take a little break from the forums if what people post effects you so much.  I like this site mainly for the fact that it allows players to vent.  Games for the most part suck right now so let people talk about it.  Developers need all the push they can get and you better believe they read gaming forums.

By the way, you won't find a developer who agrees with anything you said.  If that's how they view gamers then they either aren't in business or won't be for long. :P

I'm yet to see one single person agree on the forums that they want 100% focus on arena yet blizzard implemented it, they even added a hint that they reduced it to 10 matches/week because they know everyone hates arena.

I really wish they would stop ignoring their portion of customers that hate raiding and arena, I jus wanna log in and gank people! :P

What do you mean they're reducing to 10 matches a week?  10 was the minamum before.

I'm glad I'm not singing for either game now.  Wow is same ol crap with the expansion and I don't like how they're shamelessly adding dumb things from WAR.  I mean it might make it slightly better but they need to fix so much and add so much more than they are in wrath.  WAR is just plain horrible on all fronts and I'm glad they're catching crap on decisions.  Beta was released way to late and was way too exclusive for an open beta.  We knew this in the beginning.
