I agree to 100% with OP. I got in WAR OB today, and my first impression was "bad WoW clone". But now I'm in love with this game.

We are 2 weeks from release. This is peak of the mudfight ;) It wont get better till 1st subscription is due to pay 30 days after release. Trust me, there are nerds out there who bash a game just because they have the most expensive hardware and the game doesnt run at 100 fps on max. settings.
However, you can only find out by yourself if the gameplay is fun for you.

I pre-ordered AoC CE at Gamestop where I live (Sweden). I just got a recite. Then when I asked about the early access thing, they said it didn't come with the box, and that I had to buy myself into the early access ($5 or something) at the official AoC webpage.

Slowest I've ever downloaded from FilePlanet as a paying customer, is around 200 kB/s. I always use the UK-servers.

I downloaded the AoC install pack around 550-600 kB/s. But I did this the minute they released the file.

Any of the FPS games I have. Mostly Team Fortress 2.

It's fine if you don't want to pay for beta access, but does everyone who think so have to create a new topic all the time?

Why do people think it's so expensive? It's not any more expensive then other non-Korean MMORPGs.

exactly, i hear all this talk about complaints of the game because of the boobs, but supposedly there will be a filter for those that want to censor them from the kiddies. but i wonder why us americans fixate over nudity with our children but we allow them to see all the gore they want. We are a bunch of hipocrits if you ask me when it comes to censorship IMO

I don't mind if my kids see breasts. As long as it's noting porn-related - they will have to wait till they're 14 for that kind of stuff. ;)
