In the same boat here! I bought an electric guitar, currently learning blues licks and progressions :) And lurking these forums of course, until GW2. |

Originally posted by cinos This! I would argue that you will get tons more playtime and content etc from GW2 than for example Skyrim or ME3, and what did people pay for those? (not to mention SWTOR). |

har har, yo sooo funny :)
But seriously, try the tech demo, and it doesn't take a quantum computer to run either. |

Outerra terrain engine: http://outerra.blogspot.com/2012/02/outerra-tech-demo-released.html Tested it and drove around for an hour or so over seamless pretty amazing terrain. This with some Minecraft building stuff and we have a winner! |

What's The Next "Seamless Open World"?

Lets not forget Fallen Earth, I think you pretty much can travel all over the world without ever seeing a loading screen, right? |

Only game since that letter that came even close to most of the wishes was the crafting and trading economy of vanilla SWG I think. |

It's pretty obvious now that Swtor is not going to succeed the way you hoped.

are you proud to be called a casual player?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 8/01/11 2:37:29 PM
Casual, DEFINATELY no hand holding.i like games to be silly complex, hard and challenging, but also provide a mix with relaxing , easy, content for when I'm in that mood. |

Swtor's world pvp ... what is that nasty Bioware hiding from us, my precious?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 7/29/11 2:23:02 AM
I hope they don't bother to put down to many resources on PvP, almost no one cares anyway it seem: If the polls on these forums is anything to go after, 75-85% would play a PvE only game after all. http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/322282/Would-you-play-a-PvE-only-game.html If it was up to me, I would cancel PvP from SWTOR all together, i have FPS games for feeding my PvP needs. |

Texture resolution looks very low, hope that improves. |

Why I changed my views on this game....
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 4/12/11 10:43:47 AM
Originally posted by ktanner3 When I did my military service we were required to hit a human torzo sized target from 300m laying down, with an 7.62 automatic carbine, ironsight only, no scope. That was just basic training. Snipers can hit things up to 1000m without problems, i think, and even further away. So I think realistic ranged combat in any game is pretty much out of the question as technology stands now. |
