I just wanna know what the thing is in the middle :( Is it a Dith Statue or Darth revan or something?

We all know it's KOTOR Online because it's Bioware and Lucas Arts getting together and was it John Riccitiello the CEO of EA that owns bioware now even said it was. If that wasn't enough then the picture saying The Wait is over is the same font and colours of the KOTOR games, the picture also has them Star Wars looking lights and someone in a cloak in the middle which is probably a Jedi.

So what do you think we'll see when they announce it on the 21st?


Seeing as the previous KOTOR games are very instanced and were released for the Xbox and now EA own bioware who would want to launch it for as many systems as possible and Lucas Arts seem to want to go casual gaming, it wouldn't suprise me if many people are let down come the 21st. I mean it'll probably be laid out like Guild Wars but with cobat like Tabula Rasa which IMO would suck.

I guess we'll have to wait and see but I don't expect much.

They all get ruined.

With WOW they destroid world PVP in place of broke battlegrounds which arn't fun. They increased the level cap making the original world barren and useless. This in turn put off new players because they had to solo through levels 1 - 60 because all the players are 60+ so Blizzard made the game easier to level through and its like well why not delete the original game and start it from 60? I mean they're even doing this with Death Knight and it wouldn't suprise me if they eventually do it for all classes too. Now they've made it so everyone can get epics because all the whiners that the game was too hard made it so now it requires no skill or dedication to be the best. So again everyone feels the same because we all have epics and theres nothing to make you feel special.

This is probably a flaw with the level based item drop system because the game becomes sooo top heavy that the world slowly becomes smaller and smaller and everything you've done before it is useless. Now I thought SWG was shit and it's been ruined anyways because of SOE but the system it had in place could have been perfect if the game was looked after instead of destroid every patch. The great thing was that new players could play with their friends who have been playing for ages because theres no levels and all skills you gain do is give you more abilities but don't effect your base stats. On top of this the economy was player driven so if the game actually had any content none of it would ever become old and useless because you just play through them for badges or for fun or a schematic for the crafters. What is even better is there was whole giant worlds out there ready to put alot of content in instead of having to keep making new land.

This is what we need because currently all the level based system of LOTRO, WOW and EQ has proven to us is that the games become far tooo bloated and don't age well at all.

I played Star Wars Galaxies at launch but the game was unplayable so I quit and then picked it back up again after the space expansion because a Star Wars mmo without space is stupid. However the combat was just really bad when I played because there was no diversity in it and everyone was the same template. I mean everyone was wearing comp armour and you had to get doctor buffs to even play the game and you could solo anything, it felt really stupid. All the buff bots got annoying too because if you can play the game AFK then you know theres something wrong with it. I can't remember the templates that were always used because it was a long time ago but there was alot of professions and yet most of them were unused because in PVP they were sooo underpowered and you'd get your ass handed to you. So everyone used the same 2 or 3 templates or they were Jedi and there were sooooooooo many Jedi I mean everyone had one. If I remember right everyone attacked mind or something because it couldn't be healed so that was being exploited. Oh and decay was sooo broken because it would decay way tooo fast and you'd have to buy new armor every few days and Anti Decay Kits came and destroid all that because people would buy like 10 of them and never have to buy new armor and weapons.

It was a terrible combat system and thats why SOE had to change it but the next time I would play was towards the end of the CU and the animations were really bad so I quit again. Then I tried the game in 2006 with one of them veteran trials things and I thought it was even worse so quit againnnn.

I loved the profession system and I loved the seemless player housing/cities but the game was just shit. It was exploited badly and very broken and people were always complaining about it. Then it got 2 changes that did nothing to make the game any better but get rid of the one thing that made it good in the first place.

I really don't understand why everyone seems to love it and I think basically the only reason they praise it sooo much is because SOE took it away from them and they just want an excuse all over SOE. However if it came back now all the veterans would just be complaining about it again and don't get me any of that SWGemu crap because theres only ever like 90 people playing it at one time which doens't count.

The wrost thing about SWG however is where was the fucking Star Wars in it and where was the content. Everyone used to stand around the towns all day long because there was no quests or anything to do. I mean every review of the game said the same thing about lack of content and on the forums back then it was the same thing about lack of content.

The only way to progress through the game was grinding and grinding is boring man I don't want to kill the same mobs over and over and over again it gets boring. I want kool quests to do like save Han Solo from Jabba or something, whats Star Wars about grinding on Squills I never even saw any Squills in the movies.


Oh yeh and you were stuck to the ground and the game is capped at like 25FPS and it was soooo laggy none of my friends could play it because they'd enter a town and get like 5FPS.

Terrible game and I can only hope Bioware stays true to the KOTOR series and makes a great mmorpg.

The Market

Timed training because it rewards you for not playing and I want to progress at my own pace. I also hate how repetitive the game is because everyone you do in EVE you do over and over again like agent missions or mining. Oh and I hate the community because while I was in the game everyone just wants to insult you for being new to the game and its people with ego issues. Then on the forums everyone is an elitist who wants to insult anyone who doesn't agree with them, I mean everyone has their own opinion so why can't you accept that?
