I am in the uk and suffer from no lag, saying that i had 2 really bad lag spikes for a couple of seconds but being playing since release so thats nothing. Also on another note im loving this game what a breath of fresh air .

 Each to there own i suppose tei ,one mans waste is another mans treasure i respect your view my friend, And over 2 gig patch are you sure thats not the game download as when i patched my steam copy it was only 130 odd meg ? 

 I got mine through ncsoft store downloaded ok, its works fine but every time i start the launcher it trys to get me to download the us version. i can skip it which isnt really a problem its just really annoying is there anyway to stop this ?

 Over the past 2 weeks i have bought CO, AION and FALLEN EARTH and all i wanted to say was how happy i am with these 3 very different games. Champions is a blast at the moment,  Aion is alot of fun (apart from waiting to log on ) and Fallen Earth is something of a supprise for me as i played beta and liked the game but performance was really bad, but all that seemed to have been sorted for launch. So all in all very happy.

Happy gaming fellow mmoers and would like to hear if anybody else has something to add.

 At the moment you cant get aion like that as far as i know, my pc doesnt sleep i turned that off when i first got it. what makes me really mad is the ncsoft downloader is supposed to carry on where it left off even if you lose connection which i wouldnt mind if it were true. thanks for trying to help my friend i guess ill see when i get home ,

 getting fed up now had fileplanet downloading over night and that failed too when i woke. So now im trying ncsoft downloader again but got a  feeling when i get home in 12 hrs it will be the same story again. Learnt my lesson in future im waiting for the boxed set , cause at this rate it will be fri before i get to play anyway. very sad state of affairs for me .

just a quick question, i purchased AION today digital from ncsoft and have been downloading all day got about 2gig done and now its restarted and ive lost the 2 gig ???. now i didnt expect to be playing tonight cause of server load etc but any peeps got advice about this issue cause im really angry right now. Anybody else had this issue? cause i cant bare to keep it restarting on me.  Thanks in advance for any help guys and gals.

 Well i think you were spot on in everything you say regarding darkfall. I have just started playing 2 weeks ago on EU1 and im having a blast.

I wanted to play this game for a long time but was always put off due to the hatedred for it, but a very happy with my purchase now all they need to do is improve on the points you mention, i woud love to see more spawns and more life to the world and more pve quests and i will be very happy.

Good write up, honest and right as far as im concerned.

Does not matter what race you go, you can talk to anybody in game just find there name in the search panel and message them for a chat :)

I have been playing EVE for a couple of years now and i still feel like a noob , there is always something new to learn and right now its pvp for me. lucky for me im part of a great and friendly corp  , but im losing ships all over the place and i dont care cause its so much fun ! i mainly mine to build ships but now i mine to build ships for faction wars and its breathed a whole new life on EVE and the future is bright.

I hope you enjoy your time in EVE, and just remember that you WILL  lose ships but thats the nature of the game. you will laugh you will get mad, you will feel like screaming    at the git thats just blown your first descent ship up but think of it this way he proberly started the same.

It's probably a good game compared to the other free MMO's out there, but I just can't stand turn based fighting. Honestly if I wanted turn-based fighting I'd probably stick with console RPG's.

To be honest i thought i wouldnt like the turn based combat too, but i kinda like it ! i think its cause its so different from what on offer elsewere at the moment.

All in all its a nice diversion that i think ill play every now and then for a change and break from  the norm if its not your cup of tea fair enough, its not for everyone. As i said though it will not be my main mmo just a good alterative i still prefer eve as my main with lotr, wow and war closely following.

Anyway have a great new year what ever you play or looking to play ( jumpgate cough cough) may your gold/isk be plentyfull and above all have fun .

Being a huge fan of mmos ill try most of them at one  point or another but tend to steer clear of free ones, apart from guild wars and sword of the new world which were ok for free and i enjoyed.  So with some positive articles in magazines i though i would try atlantica online and all i can say is what a breath of fresh air to my hard drive i couldnt stop playing it last night. All i can say is give it a go guys and gals its a really good alterative to war , wow , lotr etc ( im still playing these games too ). dont want to review it as ive not played nearly enough of this game , but just needed to express how i feel.

Well thanks for the help guys, i picked up the pc version today with wings of goddess for 15 pound so im happy with that , and will pick up xbox version before xmas. Writing this while im waiting for update (long wait so far) looking forward to this evening .

I played this on the 360 when released on the format , and enjoyed it quite alot. Since then i have played wow, lotr,eve and will continue to do so ,also severel others that i enjoy but cant afford them all , eg AOC, Warhammer d@d to name a few. Now over the past week ive seen some posts about people wanting to return to this game , so it has got thinking shall i ?.

1. Is the pop still good ?

2. Do you think it has got alot of life still in it ?

Two simple questions ,as i allready know i like the game but the answers to these can make a huge difference.

I will still continue to play the above games aswell but looking for something else and always enjoyed my time in FF.

And im going for the 360 version so i can play when the wifes on pc , thats the other reason i was thinking about this in all honesty.

Im returning to eve this week and ive been reading about the new orca ship, I have just one question if you can help and that is, is this ship able to fit strip miners in the 3 high slot ? sorry for the newbie question but upon reading about it in the patch notes it says its for corp and single person miners ,so i was hoping it can fit strip . I mine with a hulk now and always wanted a bigger miner with bigger cargo and and hoping this is it.

will be gratefull for any advise
