I don't mind tera being a themepark game but it would be nice if some company took the combat mechanics and used it in a sandbox.  There is room for both, and why ruin a great sandbox concept with tab targeting.

I find the gamer community as a whole quite odd,  I read about one chap complaining that the client was causing his PC to reboot.  After further Q&A we determined that his 350w PSU could not handle his i-5, 8GB ram, 560ti computer....Lol

Wait a second, is this confrmed? 

I only read speculations from some forum users.

Remember the ballroom in the SM dungeon,  you know the one with all the blood on the floor, thats gonna have to be whitewashed in some way.  And their are quite a few more open world & instance dungeons that are far more graphic than that one.

You don't seem to understand, its not just about the blood.  Its about changing the game from the original,  not only is the blood removed, EU also had to remove or change some of the dungeons due to blood and mutalated bodies.  And one must wonder what else they will change.  The EU community is questioning Frogsters decision to rate Tera "peggy 12".

I guess his 15 minutes were not long enough for him to figure out that he could have rebinded those keys.  Seriously the UI is clean, minimual, and just fine like it is....except maybe resizing the chat Font  :p

One reason is its effect on lag to some extent and another reason is without a cycle the developers have more freedom to set the overall mood of the zone / area.

I would say the best place to start is on the EU forum site and start asking questions.  Ask if anyone played on the NA version and what was their ping,  Ask questions about their opinion of frogster so far.

Yes there is open world pvp.  BGs will be added later this summer.  There is NO stealth class.

Swear words are just too common to have any impact now days,  you need to be more creative.  If you swear too much then people will just put you on their ignore list and your point will never be heard.

They have been filtering words sense CB1 I believe, so its nothing new.

Thats because T12 gears are better than T13 because from what i heard you can't go past +6 on T13 gears and they are only slightly better in base. Also ofc buff going to matter, but everyone have buffs, if you decide to play unbuff its same thing as playing under geared. The advantage will always be there because if it isn't than PvE has no point. However its not really that hard to get to that point or obtain those things so if you don't feel like spending the extra 2 mins to get your buffs thats really your fault for not using whats give to you.

As of right now T13 gear that drops from hardmode dungeons cannot be enchanted only T13 crafted items can be enchanted.  I would expect new enchantable T13 to be added with part 2 of the expansion.

T12 gear is / was good because it had crazy good stat's on them but its no where near as good as T13 due to its base stat.

As far as BGs go,  there is far more mechanics at work than just gear that can make a match unbalanced.  Hence the reason BHS is reworking them.

I get back home from work around 11:30pm and will probably log back in at midnight for a few more hours at least :p 

Finally we get to play for real, I've been waiting a long time for this day to come.  Sad thing is I'm only going to be able to play for 2 hours before i have to go to work.

I got a free account for C9 via my hangame account from Ktera.  C9 is kinda a bad game in general but the combat is fun, not sure I would put it over tera though but that a personal taste on my part.

I haven't heard much from EU but I would expect that you guys would get the same content as NA.

Tera is what SWToR should have been.  If it was I would be playing it right now and not waiting for tera to launch.
